The tom bristles at first as he takes the item, looking at it with suspicion and skepticism. It seems like a trick... Perhaps it's poisoned. Still, its tantalizing smell is enough to make his mouth water.

He tears off a portion of the drumstick to chew it, speaking with his mouth full,

"I didn't get you anything, so... Don't expect anything from me."

"Only when I exist." The tom grumbled, rubbing at his sore head. Throwing rocks hadn't been the only thing he'd experienced; Scourge had gotten his fair share of getting stepped on, kicked away, and sprayed with water as well. It was something he'd grown accustomed to, and adapted to sticking within the shadows to avoid.
