My sister the dental hygienist actually says it's the opposite? She gets absolutely slammed in December because people have put off using their dental benefits all year and are about to lose them to non-rollover plans.

Oh interesting! I can see that too. Perhaps it’s cleanings before the new year, tougher procedures after?

I went to the dentist and she failed at extracting my tooth and just cracked it so now I'm on soup and soft fruit until at least Tuesday when Specialist Dentist can try again...

I was telling @oh-nostalgiaa the worst I had was a dude who realllly wanted pictures of my feet. I kept ignoring his messages. Then he asked if I would wear stockings for him and send pics of my feet. I finally quit OkCupid for like the third time when dude wanted to meet up to smell my feet.

hmm maybe because of my dreams of working on film industry i would say LA and in that way i can be still close to my family sjdbgdskjgj but also i would love to work in latin american films so idk asjhbaks i don’t really have a place in the world that i want to live, it’s more like where my profession takes me because i really do love live in Tijuana, i love the multiculturalism of this city.

I don’t think I’ve read your fic, so I can’t say. But making a shitty choice is a world away from not having one.

FWIW, of the fic I have read, there’s a lot of ‘oh, he has all this experience from having to use sex as a spy’ dropped casually into scenes, but I have literally never seen any of them treat it as anything but a positive thing. Bad choice vs no choice is never relevant at all, because it’s always great! And I’ve read exactly one of any kind that goes ‘uh, honeypot trope + he hates his job and wants to be doing something else would be a really bad combination.’ 

That’s a separate matter from what he might have done consensually, and probabilities aside (though there’s a reason it was for the unpopular opinion meme), I at least am completely jarred by seeing them lumped in together.
