So I was watching the IcarusLives Stream of the Marathon demo, and the first ci ematic intro cor one of the corporate sponsors hits me with:

To this day I've never had any real interest in Quake II. I was a fan of Quake, and the new direction never sat right with me. Strangely, a science fiction horror FPS with bio-mechanical monstrosities named ANYTHING ELSE would have been absolutely up my alley. Stubborn, silly... sure. Well, imagine my excitement finding out about Call of the Void which bridges the 1st and 2nd games together! The creatures from Quake return, alongside new Stroggified variations! NOW YOU'RE TALKING. At the time of this writing, Quake II is going for a song over on Steam. Don't mind if I already did. GET!
