Season 3 AU

It's summer in Hawkins, Indiana, and Starcourt mall is bustling. It has everything, from a food court to a Scoops Ahoy, to a Rockin' Records and a Kodack outlet store. And all our favorite idiots have found jobs within twenty feet of each other.

Steve and Robin steer the ship of Scoops Ahoy, bickering and keeping score of Steve's blunders. A few stores down is the Kodack outlet, where Nancy and Jonathan develop photos and sell cameras. Across the way is Rockin' Records, a music store where the least likely duo become fast friends; Eddie Munson and Chrissy Cunningham.

Nancy knows something is up with Starcourt. Her reporting instinct is going haywire, so on every break she gets, she's snooping around the halls. Jonathon is trying very hard to convince her to not do something reckless. Steve is excited for his best friend to finally be home, and Robin is excited to watch him crash and burn every time a cute girl walks in. Chrissy is steadily building up a savings so she can someday leave her hateful mother and controlling boyfriend. Eddie is helping Wayne with bills, and would like for whoever these Russian fucks are to stop interrupting his GOD. DAMN. BROADCAST.

Step (-ping Up) Dad

Bruce dies in Ethiopia, not Jason.

There's a sad funeral and Jason vows to continue as Robin to carry on the legacy.

Abt 3 months after the funeral, he goes on patrol and Tim finds him.

Tim is in a cheap batman costume and uses a fake growly voice and is like "dw Robin I've got your back"

Jason is like "wtf"

Jason tries to derail Tim so many times, but each time only makes him more determined to help out.

Meanwhile Dick and Alfred are mourning Bruce together and have no idea abt the 12 year old parenting their 15 year old.

Alfred doesn't know bc Jason thought it would be over by now

Dick doesn't know because he and Jason are on rough terms still

Tim starts sending care packages home with Jason. They have soup and blankets and books and socks ect

Alfred brings one in from the doorstep and is like "ayo Master Jason wtf"

Jason explains

Alfred invites Tim to stay at the Manor

Tim accepts and it goes surprisingly well. He helps with homework and meals and patrol

No one can stop him. He likes it and he's good at it and it gives him purpose

Abt 7 months after the funeral, Dick visits for brunch with Alfred and sees Tim at the table

Cue angry and confused Richard

Tim explains that he saw Robin needed help and it somehow translated to him becoming a tiny dad

Dick calms down is goes "OK you can be Jason's dad, but you're my little brother"

Tim goes "lol bet" and dads the heck out of him

Now he has two sons who are older than him

While this is going on, Bruce wakes up in the LOA

He sees Damian and freaks out, saving him and leaving the LOA

They get chased by assassins which is why it takes so long for them to get back to Gotham

Once they get back, they show up at the Manor and find Tim being a dad

Damian is all like "Pretender!" And tries to kill Tim

Tim stops him with the power of dad hugs

Damian immediately goes "Father 1, meet Father 2"

Bruce: "he isn't a father"

Damian: "you cannot deny the paternal role he has played in Grayson and Todd's lives"

Bruce: "hn. Fine"

There's a tearful reunion and Tim and Bruce are coparents.

Bonus: Tim and Bruce patrolling together, but Tim still wears the cheap Batsuit costume and uses the voice

Dndads Roleswap AU

Terry Stevens Jr. and his emotionally detached rogue foster son, Ron Stampler. They're very awkward, due to a combination of their personalities and Ron's fresh trauma of almost being drowned by his dad. A conveniently passing fisherman saw Willy holding him under and intervened, causing Willy to be arrested and Ron to be placed into emergency foster care. Ron wants to believe that Terry is a good person, but it's a recent placement, and he's never been the best judge of character, so. He's wary.

Nick Close and his rock and roll bard son, Glenn Close. Glenn is currently a sophomore in high school, and is trying to start a band. His dad's work has him away from home for most of the week, but Nick is there almost every weekend, and for the holidays. He wishes he wasn't home alone so often, but he knows it's hard for his dad to support them on his own. Which is why he had the great idea to sell fireworks at school! Surely nothing will go wrong.

Grant Wilson and his barbarian quarterback son, Darryl Wilson. Darryl is currently a junior in high school. During his eight grade year, his parents divorced amicably due to Grant's sexuality, and Darryl has been his wingman ever since. Grant is dating Marco Li, and Darryl tries to give romantic advice before every date. He's a big fan of football and tells Marco all about it whenever he gets the chance. Grant worries about him getting head injuries.

Sparrow Oak and his moody hippie druid son, Henry Oak. Living with his energetic father and remarkably concerning uncle gets under Henry's skin sometimes, so he does a lot of yoga to try to calm down. He has anxiety which often manifests as anger. He took up gardening when he was seven because his uncle Lark told him he couldn't go outside when it was raining. Henry proceeded to not only sneak outside during the storm, but start plotting out/tilling the soil for a backyard garden. He is currently a junior in high school.

Rad Fact about Glenn; He's been in an intense one-sided rivalry with Darryl for over a year. What's the rivalry about? Being Ron's best friend, of course! Glenn was there first, so when Darryl started hanging out with Ron at lunch, he was not excited. Darryl just thinks Glenn has a competitive spirit.

For the first while after Ron was brought to the Stevens house, he didn't leave his bedroom except to go to the bathroom and to go to the kitchen for meals. He didn't know the rules of this new place, and he didn't want to get in trouble early. He didn't want to get sent back to Willy.

Terry, on the other hand, was all over the place. He was ordering groceries, hiding equipment from his side job, making sure the house was safe and friendly for a terrified, possibly autistic twelve year old. (He had his suspicions, but felt it would be rude to bring it up, especially so early into their relationship.) Every minute that passed without any noise from Ron's room was another minute he felt he was failing.

Dad Fact about Grant- when Darryl was ten, he was playing at the park and Grant lost sight of him temporarily. When he found him, Darryl was being semi-interrogated by some random guy. Maybe he was a dad at the park with his own kid, maybe he was a jogger, Grant can't remember. He just remembers Darryl's scared little face and how his hands shook, and he recalls that that was the first time he ever felt the urge to kill.

Who Now?

2012 Au where pretty much everything is the same except none of the guys actually knows who Casey Jones is.

They're fighting Bebop and Rocksteady and Raph hits one of them into a wall. He gets back up and says something along the lines of "At least you aren't Casey Jones." Raph finds this to be a bizarre comment, but no time to wonder because they're back to fighting. Maybe it's some weird human saying.

Donnie sneaks out to 'borrow' from a computer store and while he's picking the lock on the back door, a voice behind him hollers, "CASEY JOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNEEEEESSS!!!!!" Something hits him right between the eyes, and when he looks around to see who's there, the alley is empty. Another small rock hits him at high speeds every time he tries to pick the lock until he gives up and goes home.

Leo gets into a rooftop fight with Karai, and he's gaining ground. They're exchanging insults/banter and as she gets more and more frustrated, Karai angrily wishes she was fighting 'that stupid jones kid' instead. At least he didn't have any proper training. Or did that make it more humiliating to be beaten by him? Leo asks who Casey Jones is. Karai spits, "Oh, like you don't know." No. No, he doesn't.

Mikey is on a pizza run and he's got his hands full of boxes, turning to make his way up to the rooftops, when he hears a voice from inside the pizzaria shout for Jones to hurry up. He whirls around, nearly losing his grip. He's gotta see this guy if he can- he and his brothers have a bet going on about him- but it's too late. The door is closed.

This keeps going on through the seasons, escalating to ridiculous proportions. Every new person who knows who Casey Jones is is immediately interrogated mid battle. Even the Kraang know him, for shell's sake! Even April says he's real! He's fought every enemy in the book, and apparently he's beaten/sufficiently frustrated all of them! The Shredder curses his name!

And then when they finally need to flee the city and the Farmhouse Arc is about to start, and they have no safe ride to speak of, a van screeches up beside them, smacking the Shredder across the road. A lanky, drowned-rat-lookin teenager hops out waving a hockey stick, shouting at them to get in.

They do, and Donnie asks for his name. He says they've already met. Donnie says no the fuck they haven't. Oh, the kid says, then I'm Casey Jones.

AU that I work on in my spare time. In the final battle against Shredder, Cassandra Jones is caught by his claws and flung into a wall with such force that it crumbles down on top of her. There's no time to safely get her out, and by the time the battle is over, she's dead. Bled out, brain damage, collapsed lungs- who knew. They couldn't get to her in time. They can, however, honor her brief memory by putting a picture of her on the family shrine in their new lair. Cassandra is more than a little put off by this.
