Guinevere, the current Sovereign of Ice and a well-known Ballerina in the Aquarian Empire. She may not look like it anymore, but she is a seelie. Having had to make an impossible decision, she now is wingless. She imagines she still can fly when dancing, even if it's just for a fleeting moment.

Some Character Info:
She is a quiet and easily embarrassed soul. Soft smiles and silent giggles, she is best described as subtle and subdued. On the stage she let's her art speak for her, expressing herself loudly, even if it can hurt. She loves ballet more than anything else.
Pronouns: She/Her
Age: Late 20s
Height: 1,68 m
Status: Freezing Some Lore and Characteristics:
Guinevere being chosen by the Ice Fragment came to a surprise to her, but she humbly accepted the responsibility that came with it. At first, everything was normal, until she was cold more often, seemingly nothing warming her up, despite being a literal winter fairy. When her fingers started to turn blue, she knew she was running out of time. The Fate that any Ice Sovereign has to bear: slowly freezing from the inside out. She still managed, until it reached her wings. They became stiff, unable to move, completely frozen over. She was put in front of an impossible choice: stay grounded by her wings or keep on flying with dance. She chose dance, her back now carrying a reminder of her once ethereal wings. Until she turns into a full ice statue, she at least wants to do what she loves. Things I associate with her:
This is an edit of my winter girl awakening her powers as the Snow Queen, drawn last year for an art collab. Since she starts out as an ordinary girl without innate magical abilities, her journey is also about self-acceptance- learning to appreciate what she has become that she did not ask for. As she regains her memories and learns to embrace herself more, she becomes more “alive” in a sense.
I didn’t do an extensive edit but mainly just focused on the colors. Tbh it feels so awkward to see how different my artstyle looks, but I did try to make the edit as natural as possible😂 Please swipe to see a “dark mode” version with more color contrast! Which one do you prefer, light mode or dark mode?
This is something I'll probably have to revisit when I get a chance. I remember being inspired after seeing Londrekia, a character from a game called under night in birth. I haven't seen many black characters who are ice users. The only one off the top of my head being frozone. This was some simple concepts to explore that, but I didn't have any outfits at the time. Just some faces. Hopefully I'll end up returning to it.
I like 3 and 5 the most and would probably use one of the two.
