She's supposed to be tall and thin so I adjusted the usual chibi proportions a bit, but idk if this was clearly shown in this drawing

This was also my first attempt at chibi art

OK, it’s late to post Holiday art but I love this little Ice Princess so I want to have her on my Tumblr. This was the perfect opportunity to practice big puffy dresses! I feel like drawing princesses will be my new fav topic in 2019 :)

Song of the Frozen Heart

Here’s my entry to a Winter Queens' Collab for Instagram❄️✨️ I chose the prompt “song of the ice” and Birdy’s song Silhouette to go with this drawing. I wanted to portray my Snow Queen OC holding a rose that symbolizes resilience- despite having an already frozen and perhaps even broken heart, melodies still stem from within her heart that she’ll find her way one day. Right now even the rose is frozen like herself, but she still holds on to it as a piece of hope. I’ve decided that roses are her symbol flower. I’m not sure if my message in this artwork was conveyed clearly enough tho😅

This is probably the first time I’ve done a more close-up drawing of her, other than the Elsa hybrid drawing whose base was actually Historia Reiss.😅 It was technically difficult to do and it took much longer than planned, since the shading and textures were challenging (I don’t think I did a good job with the arm perspective) and I had to alter some elements mid-process, but I did put a lot of effort into it and so I hope you like it.
