In the Stacks || Elisa and Niko
On his day off, Niko found himself heading to the library, a messenger bag old books slung across his shoulder. With the summer not quite over, he often found himself having far to much free time, despite having Colette in his life now, as well as Coraline and Wybie. In a town as sleepy as Storybrooke, he couldn't help but be surprised at the lack of things to do, but that didn't mean he didn't have to compensate for the lack of activities to choose from.
The solution had been easy, and he'd spent many a summer afternoon curled up with assorted books, either in the library, or borrowing them to read at home, in the park, amongst other places. But that also meant having to bring them back, which was what he was doing now, before choosing out new novels to take home.
Dropping the books off at the return desk, he gave the librarian a small smile before moving into the stacks, skimming them for titles that caught his eye, authors he was fond of, even interesting cover and spine artwork, anything that might draw attention to a new novel. It didn't take very long before he had three books in his arm, and a fourth caught his eye too, one he would have picked up, but for one problem. A woman was holding it.
"'Scuse me," he cleared his throat, trying to get blonde's attention, "Is that any good?"
