It had been a night just for them. They left the safety of the house after bidding farewell to both Yang and Qrow. Ruby originally had so many plans for this date with every intention of making it utterly perfect. But a mishap at the restaurant down in the city caused a change. Thankfully, the meal had been comped due to the accident but Ruby knew Weiss wouldn’t want to go anywhere else in public with massive stains all over her dress. All of the plans went out the window and so Ruby lead Weiss to a quiet place in the park. 

She sat in silence, feeling so upset. Sure, the night wasn’t totally ruined, but Ruby had so many plans! She had been saving her Lien for weeks and finally had enough to get Weiss something super pretty and expensive. She was going to have her pick it out and she had been planning something really cute to say to her when helping to put it on. It was going to be so great. And now that plan was ruined. She was sure the look on her face miserable, considering Weiss gently took hold of her hand and began to soothingly rub. 

“Weiss, I’m so so-” As she lifted her gaze to look at her girlfriend, Ruby fell silent as their eyes met. All of her negative feelings melted away as they gazed at one another. Weiss’ crystal blue eyes were hypnotic and transfixed the young rose every time. Her heart eased from her sadness, feeling the ‘I love you’ and leaning into the kiss as well. Perhaps this was the better way to end the night anyway.

          AMITOLA’S FINGERTIPS DRAW SHAPES ACROSS   the meadows of weiss’s back, plains of silk skin just waiting to be marked &&. bruised.  “ mm, really ? ”  she continues to tease, evil smirk resting calmly upon her lips.  mouth trails down to pristine neck, just below the jaw, &&. she nips urgently, hard with enamel at the flesh ( only to suck on it in apology with velvet - soft lips for the brief pain inflicted upon the skin like fresh snow ).  she hums quietly against lioness’s neck as bites &&. kisses trail down its exposed tundra, one by one ( fresh snow has footsteps in it now ).  “ no teasing … then how’s this for the way to a girl’s heart ? ” 

          footsteps morph into snow angels / ilia’s palm slips into the holy space between fabric hugging the ex - heiress’s hips and the heat between her thighs ( &&. she’s more than prepared to make it unholy, considering weiss wants her to get to the point ! ).  as her index finger slips between the lips of the lion’s den, she curls it eagerly against the sacred bud awaiting her touch, starts a brisk ( yet gentle ) pace to warm up the frigid girl so embedded in the frost of isolation.  exhaling in the steam of the moment, the overpowering reptilian leans down closer to the mattress, to the snow - monarch’s enticing visage as her digit shifts in circles ( all in hope of the schnee’s facade crumbling beneath her hand ).  after nibbling on the long - awaited flesh just beneath her ear, ilia’s spots iridesce a bright ruby ( passion / dominance ), &&. she whispers into it like a prayer sent on wings in bodily worship of the girl she was so destined to despise.  “ roar for me. ”

Who is a night owl: Ruby 100%! She stays up late on her scroll and suffers for it.Who is a morning person: Weiss. She tends to live by a set schedule for the most part.Are they cuddlers: Yes! { Maple }

When Ruby and Weiss ( @icedfates ) get older, they move in together. Being a couple, this was the next step they believed. After living together for a few months, Ruby decided to do something and surprise Weiss one day. With a puppy. She remembered how much Weiss loved Zwei, and decided they were well off enough to add to their family. And so, Ruby brought home an 8 week old red husky. They named her Maple.

Weiss spoils Maple beyond belief, making sure she had the most expensive collars and fashion sense. Ruby sends snaps of her at strange hours, usually silly things because she can’t sleep. But they both love her very much and give her the best care possible.

The hour was late, neither of them really able to sleep. So much had happened in the hours since Yang and Weiss arrived that the two partners didn’t have a moment for each other until now. Between eating all the food, catching up as a group and speaking with Ozpin about everything, it had been a heavy evening. And now, as the clock strikes midnight, the two sit in their shared bedroom with a chance to talk.

“Yang told me what happened. You didn’t have a choice.“

She wasn’t going to say it didn’t hurt. Without Weiss around, it felt as if she was missing a piece of herself. Weiss had become her best friend, something Ruby never thought would happen on that first day of school. Considering they exploded in the courtyard. But finding out Weiss was back in Atlas and there was no reliable way to contact her. She had tried writing letters. Just some way to keep in touch with her. But she never got a response. She figured they got lost in transit.

“What’s important that you’re here now. And when Blake gets here, we’ll all be together.“ 

Ruby paused, her fingers twitching just lightly as she looked to Weiss. She bit her lip, feeling the hesitation welling within her. The clouds moved across the moon, bathing their room in the gentle glow. Taking a deep breath and deciding now was the time, Ruby reached over to take a soft hold on Weiss’ hand. At first, she just cupped their hands around each other but soon she tried to lace their fingers together. Softly, hesitantly in hopes her best friend would follow suit.

“I wrote you a lot of letters you know. I don’t think they ever reached you. But it was mostly about things on Patch. What was going on day to day and how Yang was doing.“ There was no need to mention the love Ruby poured into them. How she often bled her heart on the page about her feeling for Weiss. “Snail mail has always been pretty unreliable I guess. I’m just really glad you’re here now.“

“Your target is Weiss Schnee. Former student of Beacon, allied with Qrow Branwen. She and her friends are currently in possession of the Relic of Knowledge.” Ruby repeated the information given to her by Watts. 

“Your task is to take out the Heiress. Do not kill her. If we have her alive, we can get the Schnee Dust Company in our pocket.” She stood on the roof top in the night, gazing down as her target patrolled. There was a small twinge in her heart as she caught a glimpse of her face. But Ruby’s mind told her to pay no need. She watched and waited, taking her time to observe Weiss. When she finally saw that her target was far away from people and in a secluded spot, she decided that it was time to strike. Launching from the roof top, Ruby brought out Crescent Rose and spun in the air before sinking the scythe’s blade into the ground just in front of Weiss.
