⚾️– How often do they play with their pet(s)?
Vlad’s pretty good at entertaining himself - Ros spoils him rotten with all sorts of toys - but Ros does try to take a few minutes every day to play with him. It’s a simple way to relax a bit after work, and Vlad enjoys the attention after she’s been gone for hours and hours. The only problem is that they’ve yet, after all these years, to quite sync up on when playtime is done - one of them is always still trying to go after the other is ready to stop. This has led to Ros getting bitten more than once, because Vlad has opinions on playtime stopping before he wants it to.
🍗– How do they feed their pet(s)?
Vlad gets a small can of wet food every morning. Pate only - he won’t eat anything else. He thinks it very Rude when Ros delays his breakfast by making herself coffee first, and expresses his displeasure vocally. At length. To get him through the rest of the day, Ros sets out a bowl with kibble formulated for indoor cats mixed with kibbled formulated for hairball management. Over the first few weeks she owned Vlad, she made careful observations on how much he ate, and she has a set amount that she’ll give him to keep him from overeating.
Vlad has his cat treats, too, but his favorite treats are when Ros gives him human food. He’s particularly fond of raw fish and cooked chicken.
Also he won’t eat anything if Lucas gives it to him.
🎮– Do they buy toys for their pet(s)?
So many toys. Ros spoils Vlad rotten with toys, usually ones that make noise or have catnip hidden inside them. Which is good, because Vlad likes destroying toys. A lot. Ros learned quickly to stay away from anything with feathers on it unless she wanted to be vacuuming up feather fluff strewn across the entire room; Vlad loves to not just tear the feathers off the toy, but to then shred the feathers into pieces.
And when Ros isn’t buying him toys, Ros’ mother is bringing over toys whenever she can pin Ros down for a visit. This is the most spoiled cat in the world when it comes to toys.
