Let’s call Nyo!Iceland,Iceland and Greenland the Puffin family.

((Alright, guys, what about this Icelandcest AU: Clara works at a marine life sanctuary as the head keeper of the bird department and Emil has been an intern there for quite a while, but they’ve never met. He admires her from afar as he scrubs down empty sea lion pools or penguin enclosures. Finally, he gets hired into the bird department--his dream job--and Clara has to train him on his first day. Cue awkward Emil stumbling around in his oversized big boots and baggy overalls as Clara introduces her puffin flock to him))

Do you have any headcanons or could you make some headcanons about Greenland as the child of Emil and Clara?

((OH GOSH ICELANDCEST KIDS HEADCANONS YES

Okay, well first off when they tell the other Nordics that they’re going to have a kid, Den sort of falls to the ground like “i’M GOING TO BE A GRANDFATHER ICE CALL LIFE ALERT” and Emil is like “Den..you’re not even my dad…” Greenland would have really light blond hair when they were born and most of their childhood (I haven’t decided on a gender for Greenland). Emil would be super eager to be a dad, and he’d try to do everything–from making bottles to failing at changing diapers–to lighten things for Clara. Uncle Nor tried to get Greenland to say his name for their first word, but Greenland’s first word would possibly be a curse word overheard from Mr. Puffin (puffin was definitely on the menu that night). Greenland probably cried when they met Uncle Den for the very first time–he has no sense of being too loud around kids–which ended in Den and Emil crying as well. Greenland definitely went through a rebellious phase, trying to distance themselves from the family, and in the process dyed their hair green to be different (which just sorta stuck from then on). Clara had to convince Emil to let them give Greenland the Talk, as Emil wanted to stick to the “puffins bring babies” story. But, since nations are immortal, there will come the day that Greenland moves out to reside in their own nation (said event results in many many tears from the whole family. However, the Nordics are never truly apart, but rather always by each others’ side).Nonetheless, these are simply my headcanons! I would love to hear what you guys think, as well ^_^ ))

((More Icelandcest headcanons since I'm trash: When they were little, they were deathly afraid of thunderstorms, and always went to their older siblings for comfort. While Clara eventually overcame her fear, Emil is still quite afraid. Of course, he refused to tell her that, even when their first date experienced a huge storm. Clara notices this fear when he hears a single clap of thunder, but she doesn't tease him because she feared the same thing. She stayed at his side, humming the same lullabies that Nor sang to her. Nowadays, she is fully prepared with movies, blankets, snacks, and cuddles on rainy nights to distract and comfort him.))

((Icelandcest headcanons though, guys. Imagine Clara and Emil regularly visiting schools for special lessons on their history, taking the kids on field trips to puffin habitats. Not surprisingly, the kids are overjoyed when they return from summer break to find Clara and Emil newly wed))
