Yesterday I was queueing for random dungeons and got a group that immediately struggled on the first boss of Icereach. Eventually the tank left and with them left the other DD. I happen to have a tank friend I can call on, so I did so and he joined and then I asked in my guild if someone would like to run on DD for us. One of my guild mates (the one who invited me to the guild!) joined and we ran not only Icereach but several other DLCs on vet. Eventually the DD had to go to bed so we said goodnight but our PUG healer wasn't done yet and shared [beast] (the personality) in chat and I took that as them asking for a Beast personality run in March of Sacrifices. So I asked again in the guild for a willing participant and got a STELLAR DD that I've not met before and after 2 runs (one for hard mode and the other for the no death), we got the clear for the healer! They immediately put on beast personality and idk what it was about them doing it so quickly but it just made my day. It was like a little kid with a new favorite coat, lol. We kept running more vet DLCs til we all got tired and my hands were hurting, but man, definitely an awesome night on ESO.

Lyris Titanborn greetings in Icereach based on your progression in the main quest.

First is not having spoken to the Hooded Figure, second is mid-main quest, last is post main quest with Lyris having survived. 

If you sacrificed her, her dialogue is:

"Ha! You look like you've seen a ghost! Oh, that business with Molag Bal, eh? Water under the bridge, Vestige. Breaking out of Coldharbour once is damn hard. Breaking out twice? Easier than you'd think. Anyway, chin up. We've got work to do.” Implying that Lyris escaped Coldharbour, despite her soul being consumed by the ritual with the Amulet of Kings. Unless I misinterpreted the events of the end of the main quest, this seems like a plothole.

Bit of a rant but I’m like, kinda mad the Icereach Coven witches are ‘just another dungeon boss’ and thus inevitably ‘die’ at the end of the dungeon.

With the little lore we are given about them they are hyped up to be terrifying opponents who in the past have held off whole armies and used to be advisers to Reach-Emperor Leovic, and had been chased out of their home by the Imperial Legion and probably Varen too as this happened in the same year 

They defiantly feel like they deserve better that what they get, it’s also implied that Mother Ciannait is the leader of the whole Icereach coven (No one else has the title of ‘Mother’, only Matron and Sister) and her death just doesn’t seem to effect the Icereach coven later

This also just feels with how much the Icereach witches got hyped up, that the player (and group) just, get lucky? Like anyone who’s failed Mother Ciannaits DPS check knows on the forth pulse she will 1-shot everyone even tank, so it feels like “wow lucky that we stopped Mother Ciannait when we did!!! (: “ over an actual fight
