11th February Day 10: life savers

Today was hard, as I think can be seen in both Crystal and my post.

In short, because I don’t feel like blurting it all out and I can’t really even say anyway due to a secret I’m holding close to my heart, it was just a hot hot day.

In eventful order: a friend who is hurting, a message that meant more to me than I realised ever would, being found crying by the sheds by a probably concerned and awkward Mr Argent, later seeked out by Mrs Argent sent on a wild-goose-chase trying to find the ‘Maddie crying by the sheds’, a surprise appearance by a much needed gurl right exactly when she was needed and a prompt emergency panic picnic and much laughter about little kids and their funny behavior until I felt better.

I am so incredibly blessed to have the friends I do, swoopong in like angels sent right when they are needed most and today could have been a lot worse without my homies.

We had rainbow iceypoles to make everything better, Bonnie.

Cool Summer..

It is really summer now. I mean really really summer. How I love this weather. Balmy evenings, warm mornings. An excuse to pretend we are in Spain and have a siesta..

Here in sunny Perth we daily feel the need to 'cool down'. So how are you going to do that?

This is how I am going to do it. With a home made icy pole (pineapple juice with strawberry pieces are my fav) and a magazine in the garden.

I love such simplicty.
