How it started vs how its going!!
Worm bin > Rock melon fruiting from the compost!!
Super proud of this omfg i didnt even intend to grow melons xD i was just feeding my worms!
-
🪱 Also the crate under the worm bin is for the worm juices to collect in so i can use it to water the rest of the garden for nutrients! 🪱

As a fellow ship enthusiast, when the perfect name is right there for the ship
Use it
Please it hurts my soul otherwise/silly

Smg1 X Bob: Bomg1. I don't mind the ship name but Bong1 is such a good one too. Bob likes weed so one letter change and it's just right 🗣️
Melony X Saiko: There isn't an agreed upon ship name for this one right now cause it's a rarepair/new ship. May I get this in early and say ROCKMELON. PLEASE CALL IT ROCKMELON. I'LL GIVE MY LIFE AND SOUL FOR PEOPLE TO START CALLING IT ROCKMELON

Flavoured my second batch of hibiscus F1 today
I don't like using ground spices because it leaves a powdery gritty residue in the kombucha - so I got some whole nutmeg and crushed into nice big chunks using a meat tenderiser 😂
First time using both of these spices, so the quantities are complete stab in the dark. Used 3 whole nutmeg, and 5 cardamom pods - each in 2L of Hibiscus F1 - fingers crossed 🤞
(Oh and rockmelon = canteloupe, its an Aussie/Kiwi thing)
Watching and waiting to see if we get an ediable rockmelon. We have never grown these before as it is usually too cold.
