2025 1/7-1/10は初めてインド沿岸警備隊 SHAUNAKの来日対応バイト。沿岸警備隊＝海保なので入港は横浜の第三管区海上保安本部管轄埠頭だけど、宿泊先はいつもの湘南リーフなので朝有の通勤はそれなりに時間が掛かりました。今回は船のNo.2 & No.3 &ドクターの三名を担当したけど、いつも以上に難解なインド英語の判読に英語力の低下を再認識しました。今回もギフト頂戴しました。

Rajnath commissions Coast Guard ship Varaha
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday commissioned the Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Varaha in Chennai on the concluding day of his two-day visit to the city.
The Varaha is an offshore patrol vehicle developed by the private agency, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in accordance with a contract signed with the Defence Ministry.
It is the fourth among a series of seven ships to be delivered by L&T with features like ultra-advanced navigation and communication sensors. Varaha will operate from the port of New Mangalore on the West Coast covering the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) up to Kanyakumari.
