alright i'm calling it: ichi is part majik. he never knew his parents, so it fits very well with his backstory. the manga has already laid the groundwork for it in the past arc with madoka. and it also explains why ichi has magic aptitude despite being a man.

but what really solidifies it for me is death for death, especially in this recent chapter. my moots & i have joked before about it being basically a stand ability with a hard activation condition and everything, but the more time has past the more i've suspected that this is more than just one of ichi's core principles. in the bakugami arc ichi is physically unable to control his bloodlust when faced with hostile intent.

and earlier today we saw d4d (seemingly) fully override fujimine's memory erasure spell. not even DESSCARAS was able to do that without tricaputo's aid. this pretty much confirms that d4d is obviously an Ability of ichi's own.
