my headspace lost world island didn’t have enough fliers so I made a bunch
Aviapril day 7, Ichthyornis dispar. Made a last-minute tweak to the colors to make it more white and less gray which suits it much better imo. Webbed feet continue to be a great adversary in pixel art.
Day 97 of DDD! The Ichthyornis! The fish bird, a cretaceous bird speculated to have been in the same niche as modern gulls. Though unlike them, these guys still had teeth! It is also one of the few ornithurans with plenty of specimens!
