       THE COLD WEATHER never bothered her personally -- she’d throw on warmer clothes && she held a sort of confidence in navigating icy terrain. festivities && the more casual, less threatening fun people had in snow wasn’t entirely her thing, however, but she figured if the queen wanted it, then she’d humour her (  though generally she was fascinated by her magic in a way that drew her to her somehow but even without it she was magnetising && ethereal on her own ). && really, humouring her meant spending time around her && she doesn’t think she can complain about that -- she didn’t seem the type of person who easily got on her nerves, she was easier to be around than most as far as cassandra was concerned.

       the swordswoman tosses && catches a few pieces of coal in a gloved hand -- her other arm crossed under her chest to prop up her elbow, weight leaned to one hip as she watches the snow flurry before her.

      ❝ you know, don’t you think it’s technically cheating if you just magic up a snowman ? don’t get me wrong -- it’s pretty cool, but it’d probably take me way longer. ❞

       it’s meant as a teasing joke -- evident by the soft laugh that leaves her accompanied by the smirk painted across red lips while she places the coal in strategic locations on the blank canvas of a snowman.

when he yelled, the winds grew mightier and colder. everything it touched began to frost, slowly freezing. one before on the day when they were young, and he grew up beside the queen (as a princess then), he imagined they’d all be happy together, whether or not he expressed his true feelings to elsa. he’s always had an unexplained fondness toward her. something he didn’t fully realize until she shut herself away from the world, leaving everyone out.

he pretended it never bothered him. but it did. whether she was his first love or not, he was close to her and she shut him out. and he always resented her for that. now, he’s angry.
