Just a silly commentary post below, not entirely relevant so I usually wouldn’t post it, but our blog has been a bit slow and I found it amusing and relevant enough to share

So our system uses discord a lot for communication, and personally, ever since I watched the anime Banana Fish (a very heavy topic anime about a lot of abuse, literally my favorite anime and very well done and relatable but also very easily triggering to a wide variety of traumas, if interested message me for a more detailed rundown of tw) I just really took to this one icon on the Discord since I was REALLY annoyed with back to back medium inconveniences, trauma related things, and triggers and so on that I put the icon as a meme and literally between falling in love with the anime and how it kinda really just encompassed my mood plus the main character is kinda relatable I REALLY never changed it. I am someone who changes my icon regularly back in the day, so to keep one icon for like 5 months is a big deal.

Anyways, so I recently also did art of myself in Bloodborne gear since I love Bloodborne and figured my inner world appearance would look REALLY good with hunter’s garb and I did that and it turned out good (full version @feathery-creations​). Like I actually started to dress that way in the inner world accidentally since I suck at managing my appearance in the inner world and I typically end up there in whatever clothes the brain dresses me in and the past few weeks it has been the exact outfit from the picture - sometimes minus the hat.

So I am sitting here and one part of me is going. “Dude dude dude, we should change our icon on Discord to the Bloodborne you. Its pretty good and a pretty accurate depiction of you. It’s about time you had an icon that reflected your inner world appearance”

And then another part that just went “No, but grumpy Ash Lynx (Banana Fish Icon) is still more accurate to our general mood, expression at life, and relatability”

And the first part was like “Oh, yeah nah you right.”

And btw these are not dissociated parts but just like, different sides of myself. They are still me and I did stretch the amount of ACTUAL dialogue between parts here a bit but XD

|| Is anyone else having issues with icons? Just some of them - some work fine, but some won’t load when I add them. The post will just act like it’s updating forever and not let me save it or post it or anything. Anyone having any similar issues???

OOC: On the subject of icons

I've recieved a complete lack of asks complaining about my icon of Brook Soso looking like she's sneezing.

I fully intend on changing it anyways, but I haven't been using my own computer long enough to find a new photo. My old laptop died off with my old pictures and screengrabs and it's disappointing but I need to move on from that.

My new computer doesn't have any photos on it yet and i'm not on it either so I'll take care of this thing soon.

It's bothering me at this point, it looks like i'm making fun of her for being of Asian decent.

I'm thinking of changing my icon to a FMA charrie. But whooo...? I'm leaning toward either Al or Hawkeye (even tho everyone and their mother has an icon of Hawkeye) Help me out, ya'll?
