She  could  easily  blame  it  on  the  wine,  on  the  stress  of  the  life  she  was  now  living,  but  it  was  more  than  that.  Ever  since  they  met  there  had  been  a  tension  growing,  something  beyond  two  friends  kissing  to  prove  a  point  to  the  head  cheerleader.  Neither  of  them  had  acted  upon  it,  both  getting  their  own  significant  others.  They  had  never  acted  on  it,  until  now.
