          He   didn’t   know   if   he   should   believe   her   when   she   said   that   or   not   .   He   was   never   the   first   choice   .   Normally   ,   the   people   he   really   likes   or   start   to   develop   a   crush   on   ,   don’t   actually   know   because   they   either   reject   his   offers   or   actually   don’t   want   to   do   anything   with   him   because   of   his   family   name   .   It   was   as   if   his   family   name   hold   everything   .   That’s   how   he   end   up   being   their   enemies   and   insult   them   to   the   point   of   hurting   them   deeply   with   words   that   means   bad   things   .   Something   he   regrets   and   that   is   still   happening   when   he   is   in   a   bad   mood   .   He   could   have   had   more   friends   in   his   life   but   being   rejected   by   most   of   the   people   he   wanted   to   have   a   friendship   with   ,   it   actually   made   him   sad   .   Unhappy   .   He   wasn’t   saying   it   didn’t   make   him   happy   to   heard   that   ,   he   loved   when   people   admitted   that   they   loved   him   or   appreciated   his   presence   .   Still   doesn’t   mean   if   he   could   give   her   his   trust   .   Though   ,   he   didn’t   know   what   she   could   see   in   him   when   he   was   horrible   ?   A   look   of   incomprehension   settles   on   his   face   as   he   adds   ,   speechless   .   “   What   do   i   have   that   other   don’t   ?   I   mean   ,   can’t   be   my   mean   words   .   ”

It was clear that he was surprised by what she said, obviously not used to this type of kindness from others.  ❝  No, you have a heart.  ❞  It was plain and simple. If he didn’t, he would do a lot more than just yell at the others. He could do a lot worse and get away with it because of who he was. Yes, perhaps detention or a talk from a teacher, but nothing more than that. Yet, he didn’t do much more and that had to mean something.  ❝  Believe me, I’ve done my share of bullying and I’m not proud of it but... I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, but I have a feeling you enjoy it less than you let on.  ❞ Veronica shrugged. She wasn’t going to pretend she knew everything there was to know about Draco Malfoy, but she had known him for years and he had grown from being a complete pain in the butt to...being a mild pain in the butt. At least now they could have an actual conversation without some snide remark bringing it to an abrupt end. Besides, they were both there, having to complete tasks for others instead of having a normal life.  ❝  We come from similar backgrounds, Draco, you don’t have to be all high up in your pedestal with me.
