I still can't get over the fact that people are attracted to my skin, specifically my hands. I call it my dragon skin now, but it was a point of ridicule for me growing up. It's so healing to be seen as attractive, especially in ways that I felt so unlovable for so long. Thank you. 💜💜💜

Just saw your post about ichthyosis and I can't express how much it means to know I wasn't the only person who got called "old man hands" growing up or in my case as well made fun of for leaving "crumbs" when it would dry up and flake off. Your hands look lovely and I'm so jealous of you and your confidence rn 🥺🥰

You are the third person I've met after a lifetime of feeling alone. I'm so glad that I have been able to talk with people who understand. My DMs are open if you want to talk. Keep your head up and wear your dragon scales with pride and I'll try to do the same.
