For hoping to see the rumor direct according to japan playlist for week 18, it’s not in here....at least if wasn’t the fact on Monday and Tuesday got Wii Fit and Dr. Mario for Health and Sports in Japan. So maybe for Oct. 31 for Halloween, there’s hoping a new zelda character to be announced. 😉
However for Greninja’s Final Smash as Ash-Greninja? Could be unexpected yet make Ash Ketchum very proud.
Fighters: Wii Fit Trainer, Dr. Mario, and Greninja
Stage: Boxing Ring
Assist Trophy: Zero from Mega Man X series
Song: Id purpose from Fire Emblem Awakening (sighty sounded from Smash 4, but so does from Chrom’s reveal)
it’s one of those nights
Me plotting this Athenide fic: Okay so Poseidon is going to be the most mid dad ever, marrying off all his daughters. He's winning the dgaf contest.
Me writing this Athenide fic: actually Poseidon thinks young love is beautiful and is going to protect it in his weird patriarchal way. He's like a 6/10 instead of a 4.5/10.
Thinking about Athena and Zeus in the Athenide AU. Zeus is a girl-dad. The biggest of girl-dads, even. And he knows his daughter. Is she, a capital M maiden who delights in war and politics above all else, truly prepared to raise a child of her own? She may think it's the same as mentoring heroes, but being a father himself, he knows that parenting is far more difficult than it seems.
And so he sends the Athenide to Poseidon for six months to see if Athena is truly committed to this task. Even if his brother is uninterested in his daughter (and I'm playing with this too) he has his wife and a support system capable of raising a young child. Athena... has to make one.
Athenide AU Snippet
You never gave up on me, Seaweed Brain. So I will never stop waiting for you.
Malcolm had once called her a true child of Athena Areia, the cunning strategist. She was all jagged edges, more divine than not, a blade in the shape of a girl. The demigod named Annabeth was designed to cut down her mother’s enemies, and nothing more.
But this war could not be won with swords. No, this battlefield was one of words. Of memory.
For gods do not die while their name is still spoken.
And what is Arsinoe if not a god?
She is Pistis, she who connects all things. She is Themelios, the foundation, from which no city can be built without. She is Aristeia, the glory passed down throughout the ages, the undying story of Hellas.
She is present in every home and every hearth, a promise kept in every sigh of the polis.
Who better to carve out a legacy for her beloved?
Percy, thinks the part of her that was still Annabeth, for you, I will be Penelope at the loom.
The Athenide picks up her shuttle and begins to weave.
The Hymn to Perse
Inspired by @freedomanddisorder and her lovely Athenide art. Contains no-context spoilers for my Athenide fic, which I promise will get out of WIP hell one day.
This is not in any way accurate to the poetic structure of actual hymns, but hopefully it still passes the vibe check.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
O Perse, who calls you home? Sing, O Muses, of
Salacione, endowed by the
Pistos of Arsinoe Themelios.
O Laossos, may you never leave us!
You who bears Philos and a golden sword, lovely
Areia Nikephoros, may you guide our ships to victory.
O Alexandros, she who defends the innocent,
The Anastasia of the Athenide, Soteria to all, you are the
Raven-haired Kourotrophos who stokes the fires of the hearth.
Your name was carried on the wind as Nerio to the city of the seven hills,
Where they have praised you as Fides herself.
You are the speaker of Quiritus,
Libera and Reductrix to all who carry your visage.
Now, beloved Pelagia, journey home
To where your bridegroom awaits.
