Ringo said his mom got him his ID bracelet, and Paul won't say who got his.
Everyone thinks it's John. I thought it was Mary saved it before she died for his 21st.
Now I think because Paul's mom wasn't around, Ringo's mom got it for Paul for his 21st as a surrogate mom, probably giving Ringo his when he turned 21.
Also, that would explain why he brought it back out during the Anthology, since he was singing Ringo for a few weeks more frequently than typical.
