Wikia : The Tamagotchi wikia page with a lot of informations about tamagotchi’s models, tamagotchi’s characters and tamagotchi’s tv shows, I used it to know what features are on different tamagotchi’s models ;
P’s Guide : A tumblr page with a very completed guide about how using the Tamagotchi P’s ;
Gotchi-garden : A blogspot blog speaking about different models of Tamagotchi with a lot of useful informations and other things like shops or forum websites ;
Fuzzy-n-chic : A very useful website where you can download translated manuals, differents pdf with informations, files and others about the Tamagotchi Friends, 4U/4U+, M!X, ID/ID L, P’s and Pocket Designer, the website proposes too some homemade articles to buy, I find a lot of informations on this website and I bought too my Archos smartphone with NFC and IRDA compatible with Tamagotchis ;
vpets : A other very useful website where the owner has translated menus, articles, in english from japanese and where we can download in jpg differents Tamagotchis ID/IDL/P’s wallpaper, clothes, accessoiries and objects.
The list of websites where I bought my Tamagotchi stuffs or where I saw interesting prices. /!\ There are some orders I have not received yet so I can’t really give my advice about the concerning websites, I gonna update this post when I’ll received my next orders :
amazon.fr : Honestly, this is not the more interesting website for Tamagotchi when they are directly sold and sent by Amazon or Bandai, the price are very expensive or more expensive that they should ! But, sometimes, when you look at the different sellers who sell the same articles, the price could be cheaper, it depends of the day. I bought a new pink Tamagotchi 4U on it from a Japanese seller for a few euros less than the Bandai price, I just was lucky that day ;
ebay.com : This is not the site where I found the cheapest Tamagotchis, contrariwise, the sellers sell the products more exepensive by taking advantage of the fact that there are rare products now, I just found on it some Tamagotchi keychains and an used blue Tamagotchi ID L for only 26,99$. I use mostly ebay for little asian products costing less than 10$ ;
japanyouwant.com : A japanese website written in english which sells different virtual pets whose mostly Tamagotchis and other products about Tamagotchis (used or new models, DS games, original paper manuals, faceplates, pouches, keychain, little bags, plush dolls, etc.). Different articles are arriving and are out of stock everyday so, look at the new products released everyday. On it, I bought I used Blue Melody Version Tamagotchi M!X and a colorful faceplate for my 4U ;
cdjapan.co.jp : On it, I just founded and bought a new Purple P’s Tamagotchi less exepensive than on ebay or somewhere else but this website is mostly specialized on sales of cd, book, dvd, etc. I founed the Tamagotchi P’s haphazardly and the other Tamagotchis on it are really cheaper but mostly, unfortunaly, “not longer available”... ;
j-subculture.com : A website that looks like Amazon but it’s not and we can buy with Paypal on it, here I found my Tamagotchi Pocket Designer ;
amiami.com : I thought that it was the most interesting website which sells Tamagotchi (a lot of models and very cheaper price) but all the Tamagotchi I saw on the site are “sold out”... ;
hobbylinkjapan.com : An other interesting website, where I didn’t order anything like for amiami.com, because there are a lot of discounts on it but there is just one Tamagotchi on sales (the Pink Tamagotchi 4U +), the others products are just about Tamagotchi and not directly the virtual pet Tamagotchi.
What we could do without Mr. Blinky ? This guy is a genious ! He helps a lot us, poor little occidental people that do not speak or understand japanese at all, with is different patches, web pages and other things about the Tamagotchi world I listed below :
4U App : The 4U smartphone application translated in english which works only on Android phones. You just have to download the APK file on that page, installing it and let’s go to add precious objects to your Tamagotchi 4U and translate it into english thanks to a patch made by Mr. Blinky ! ;
P’s English Patch : You can too translate your Tamagotchi P’s into english thanks to Mr. Blinky but you will need a infrared phone or smartphone to do this. With this patch, the Tamagotchi is fully translated ! ;
P’s Virtual Deco Pierces : No need anymore to buy expensive deco pierces for your Tamagotchi P’s, you just have to download the pictures from Mr. Blinky in your Tamagotchi to download the different features that the Deco Pierce may give you, it works exactly like the english patch ;
P’s Characters : It works exactly like for the virtual deco pierces and the english patch ;
Friends Code Generator : Hard to get some meals or jewelries in your Tamagotchi Friends ? Mr. Blinky have made a page which is works like in the “Dream town” game on the Tamagotchi Friends website, it’s like you connect to website with the PC option in the door menu, put your log code, chose what you want to receive (meal, snack, crown, necklace, bracelet, ring) and you’ll get a log off code with the object you wanted as a gift !
