Post Pre-Screen Interview

I wasn’t feeling entirely confident in my performance at the interview, I think I came across as really nervous. My voice was cracking and I kept losing my train of thought but I tried to keep smiling as much as I physically could and try to get what I wanted to say across to the interviewer. When I got home I told everyone that I didn’t think I was going to get through to the next stage and was feeling really disappointed in myself. So I tried as hard as I could to forget about it at least until the emails came through with the results which I didn’t think would appear until nearer the end of the week. However last night people started getting emails and I began panicking about it again. I was glued to my phone for around an hour constantly refreshing my emails and the Facebook group to see what others were saying. Finally around an hour after people started getting emails mine came through and luckily for me it was great news! I genuinely didn’t see anything except for the word congratulations before I burst into tears. 

So for anyone wondering I got through to the next stage and have got an interview with Disney recruiters! I’m so happy that I’ve managed to get this far as I genuinely didn’t think I’d get past the first application stage and I’m so excited for the next part of the process! I’m now one step closer to my dreams coming true! I hope it’s good news for everyone else too!

I'm from AUS and want to live in Orlando permanently, but I'm trying to decide if once i have finished this 6 month course, I should get a job, save and bite the bullet and go once i have enough money, or if I should do some more study and apply for the IDCP, to get a taste of living there. Suggestions?

You can always do the IDCP and then stay there afterward, applying for full time.
