Dartboard CEP
I was decorating the apartment of some new sims of mine, and something about painting a white line on their nice new hardwood floor felt very wrong. So here we are, I made a CEP extra for the dartboard that separates the oche (did you know that is what they are called? Neither did I until now 😆) into a subset of its own, and then I made a recolor that turns it invisible. Have fun imagining fights between your family members about whether someone stepped over the invisible line or not 🤭
Download from simfileshare
The CEP goes in your Documents CEP folder. The recolor goes in downloads.
If you had custom recolors with a line that looked different from the original white, you will have to recreate it in order to retain access to the line part. It is very easy though, just generate a new recolor package (with CEP enabled in SimPE and the file in your CEP folder) and move the texture over. Out of my recolors I have only one had touched the line, so it seems pretty rare.
I hope it is useful to someone :3
If anyone happens to like the recolor I used, it is from a set on T$R and you can grab them here.
Two recolors for the Billy bookcase books. Ikea Stuff Pack required. I've wanted to give these books some more options as well ever since I did my other book recolors but I lost interest over time and never finished what I started. Then @episims made some beautiful new book covers and a mod for different book covers which included @isimchi's quirky covers and so I got inspired again.
So these two recolors use the textures of those two book cover defaults. They don't align perfectly, and some covers are rotated but as usual that is because of the way the mapping of this bookcase works. Some of the texture overlaps each other and so there are some small lines of different colors along the books, but if you ever zoomed in at the original textures you will notice mine align a lot better already (the originals have a lot of black lines around the books).
The books are not normally recolorable, so I made a CEP-Extra to fix that. You will need these files as well to make the recolors show up!
To install the CEP-Extra:
Place the file named “documents” in Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection\zCEP-EXTRA or a similar path if you don’t have the ultimate collection.
Place the file named “pfiles” in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\Catalog\zCEP-EXTRA or a similar path if you don’t have the ultimate collection.
I thought it would be fun to include the .psd this time because most of the work is finding out where exactly to place the textures. Just place new textures over mine and you will have pretty new books in no time! You can also mix and match some of mine, both recolors are included in the file.

Oct. 31, 2025 Update! It turns out the recolors never worked for anyone because recoloring the Billy books required a CEP-Extra I never shared... Better late than never?
Oni: "Pravý chlapy si nemůžou lakovat nehty!" a pak si sednou s pivem u televize
Já: nalakuju si nehty a pak celý víkend házím dřevo, válím se v bahně s koňmi a běhám kolem výhně a kovadliny.
The tool:
(Říkám tomu kovářská elegance. Když ty ruce byli úplně černý od uhlí, tak krásně kontrastovali s tou bílou)
The product:
Ano, to je bojový cep co sem si vykoval.
The king!
