Literally one of my favorite things about Eva is how Hideaki Anno is a troll who thinks fans are idiots for reading so deeply into everything and he picked all his Christian imagery and stuff at random because it was exotic and looked/sounded cool….

And yet all of the interpretations and symbolism still *work* like he’s not a monkey with a typewriter or anything, it was his vision and he deserves credit for doing groundbreaking things without trying to read into the religious stuff, but somehow he managed to give Eva even more depth by *accident* XD

hello tumblr friends. This is a sad post: after 5 years of excellent work @pbsdigitalstudios‘ Idea Channel is going off the air. Here I reflect on what an inspiration the show and @mikerugnetta have been for me and my career

Don’t you guys ever get tired of posting about things you hate? Like I get it, Mattpatt/ Youtube/ Mincraft/ Undertale/ Idea Channel/ Steven Universe/ Superwholock/ Pinecest/ longposts/ Voltron/ Disney/ Dreamworks sucks. Go do something original and useful for once in your life.
