AO3 is down so I’m posting ramblings about LotM.
First to start is crossover ideas I’ll probably never write because I have too many wips:
Percy Jackson: I think this crossover would just straight up be funny. Mostly because of the difference in what they call demigods.
“Yeah my dad is Poseidon, the god of the sea so I get my powers from him and monsters have hunted me since childhood because of it.”
Vs
“Oh wow you can like, say his name out loud? And he’s a god? That’s crazy. Anyways we get our powers from consuming the pieces left behind from the dismembered gods that fell during the calamity.”
Also!! There’s apparently a new Percy Jackson AU that involves different universes and one specifically that makes the Olympian’s unable to have kids and I do think it would be funny to throw de-aged tarot club members into that mess (as demigods obv so like post book 1)
Hmm, what else? Oh, Mr. world pretending he doesn’t know jack and shit about Greek mythology would be very funny considering the type of nerd he is.
Also, I am picturing Mr Hanged Man surrounded by a gaggle of Little Sun aged warriors and the chaos that would very much entail.
Klein would love seeing skyscrapers again but would be very annoyed they were in America and not China but then realize it wouldn’t be his China anyways and then make himself sad about it.
Also also Derrick would fit right in but not understand why the other kids are traumatized (or that he himself is traumatized let’s be real he’s a sunshine boy)
He would get mistaken for a son of Apollo immediately.
