Ideal Future
How amazing is that to image ourselves five, 10, 20 years from now, right? When I think about that I can only think about things I’m cultaving now. In this processe I realized a need to have more long-time habits. Then, when I think about my Ideal Future I want to see the habits I am trying to have consolidated, naturally present in my life. I also hope I will work in something that cause a big impact in people’s live. Still can imagine that, but for sure I will have a lot to add wherever I work! I get anxious thinking about that haha But generally I want to be in peace with myself and bring only good things for those around me!

Dragonfly Backwardsfön
The Dragonfly Futurefön. Yeah—no. Who wants to carry this thing around? Not me. It's unwieldy and ugly.
Look! It's only about a dime and half thick! That's only about a dime and quarter too thick. Is anyone else reminded of “communicators” from the 90's?
Remember how great and easy to use they were? Oh wait—they weren't!
Who's making this? A guy that really, really wants to make a computer with two screens it seems.
What the hell is the point of a laptop with a screen split in two? Or a computer?
Christ.
But wait, it can do even more!
“The Slingshot is the only other phablet with a Smartpen”
Look, I don't care that it can make phone calls. At 7 inches, it's not a phablet anymore—it's just a tablet. You can't possibly hold that to your ear comfortably during a phone call.
Slick promo pics, dude. Did you take those with a phone?
You know what great advantage a tablet has over a laptop? With a laptop, I have to pull it out of the bag, out of its case, find a place to sit the laptop on, open it, angle the display, worry about where to put my hands, yadda, yadda.
With a tablet, you just take it out and use it, instantly. Sitting, standing, lying down, doesn't matter, you can use it anywhere.
This, on the other hand? One screen? Two screens? Dock? Keyboard? Touchpad? Pen? Android? Windows? Both operating systems at once? You know what, I'll just watch this video on my phone instead.
Also, I'm not sure what history books these guys are using, but I'm pretty sure the iPad—that completely changed tablets and made them immensely popular—came out after the iPhone, and definitely not in the 90's.
But hey, maybe these guys are stuck in the 90's.
I'm not even going to talk about the “early adopter” pricetag of $99, or the fact that they're only asking for $10,000. Or the fact that all the product shots are shoddy 3D renders. Shady at best.
I find it ironic that this is the quote they decided to end the presentation video with. This product is far, far too complex for its own good.
This is definitely not what the future looks like. Thank God.
