Y’know how Costis and Kamet kind of mirror Gen and Irene? And the whole "they saved each other" thing? Ever think about how Costis and Kamet saved each other too? And I don't mean in a "Costis saved Kamet from the Medes" kind of way, I mean in a "Costis has to leave the court for his own safety" and "Kamet finds a companion who helps him be softer" kind of way. Idk. Just thoughts.
