When a studio executive has to comment on the shipping, it means that it has gone too far.

The higher ups should not know about this. That they are aware of it shows that the privacy of the actors has been invaded enough so that their superiors had to be told. 

I don’t know Sam and Caitriona, but I would bet that they are sick of the shipping and want people to respect their privacies and their loved ones.

I hate people

I just saw someone comment on a post about getting upset and drunk when a fictional person dies. I can understand the post sure.

However... the comment the person made really pissed me off. They literally think that a lot of Avengers fandom has PTSD from Infinity War. No. Fuck you no. That’s not how it works. I can see something from a movie or show triggering someone who already has PTSD but no, it does not cause PTSD. I should fucking know because I have C-PTSD!

So... just say that the movie or show or book really made you sad or distraught. Don’t fucking bring an actual mental health issue into it. 😡

God, the Outlander fandom seems scary. I feel relieved Dan Stevens was already married, although people didn't ship JBF and AL and both were single.

Well the fandom is a bit weird. 

But an actor being married doesn’t stop people from shipping. 

They’re people who ship Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan even though he’s married with 2 kids. I saw some nasty stuff said about his wife. 

I also saw some people starting to ship Dan Stevens with Emma Watson. I don't know if it caught on or not, but yuck. 

The bottom line is that these people don’t bother with reality. They always find some crazy conspiracy theory to explain it away.

like I'm just reading all of this shit and I'm so confused. Half of the posts are wildly sexist and the other are just baffling. Why do people care so much about the personal lives of complete strangers?

The thing is that they don’t really care about the actors and their actual lives. All they care about is the fantasy they created about them. And when reality doesn't support the fantasy, they get nasty.
