Pegasus had said he was throwing a formal party for duelests. Naturally, Kaiba believed that meant there would be some, you know, dueling going on. No such luck. Apart from the duel monsters inspired decorum, which included ice sculptures of Toon World and related cards, there was not a duel in sight. Kaiba had even brought his deck to the party. Now it just felt heavy and sad in the pocket of his expensive suit jacket. At least he could sigh over a glass of wine. And sigh he did.
