Fucked up little Mira Imagine
The girls get seperated and go into some fucked up mist that ecposes their traumas and Mira, sweet Mira, who's managed to avoid therapy for so many years and even tease zoerumi for getting their emotions clocked, who claims she's too tough to have anything wrong with her, is left confronting the malformed figures of her parents and the shame of being their failure.
Being reminded of being that helpless kid, told she was too aggressive, too violent, too different, too wrong, kept under the ever violent gazes just searching for a mistake, for something to punish.
But their words, their cold strikes, their dissapointment holds nothing to the last piece of the fading nightmare:
Her older brother.
Smiling gently, holding her face in his hands as he would after Mira would get into fights, telling her that his death wasn't her fault in that soothing voice she considered closer to that of a dad's than her actual father's.
And it breaks her more than anything.
That she's not the problem child, she's not the curse that fell onto her family, that it wasn't her.
That all that pain she went through wasn't deserved.
She didn't kill her brother by running away, leaving him as the punching bag when he wasn't sure to it. They did with their cruel words and their disregard to his mission of trying to find out where his sister went, so sure that SHE herself died. She wasn't at fault for defending herself, and it wasn't justified anger at a mistake problem child.
It was just abuse.
