it peeves me so much when my mom gets all up in my face when I critique her on how she raises my six year old brother, acting like bc I’m not his mother (or a mother) I don’t get to tell her how to raise her child. like, no, fair enough, I’m not his mother but I was raised by his mother too, she’s my mother too and the ways in which she fucked me up (which she won’t admit nor take responsibility for) are ways she’s currently fucking him up too and I would hate for my six year old brother, who’s a literal sweetheart, to grow up and go through what I went through and become what I became, all thanks to my parents.
