More zombie pete antics. I’m imagining a goofy scenario where he has to sequester pete until he can find a way to hide the fact that he is literally a corpse. And maybe possibly tell the other two.

Also in my mind Pete n Jer are like 19-20 here with Jer having come back from college for summer and somehow accidentally killing Pete. It was a joke at first but yk what. He fucking hit Pete with his car on accident and he lived-ish. This would be some alt timeline where Jer has zero intentions of seeing them again but he ends up having to figure out what to do with freshly turned Pete, meaning this is before the Epilogue but after the portion of the comic where they’re in high school.

macklin sophomore burning big and bright and just at the cusp of burnout. he accelerated thru high school. his parents r begging him to slow down and experience college bc it goes by So Fast (i, as robin, co-sign this) but mack is like. no im maxxing out my summer credits, taking two internships a semester, leadership positions because if he can graduate early he will. this neoliberal cv brained 19 yr old who is so anxious about his future even tho his family isn’t struggling #likethat. he is gonna graduate do reaearch abroad get a field medal or a nobel prize ... something ... also mack as bisexual but his family is liberal so he doesnt rlly gaf.

there's always been more, but when mack tries to initiate sex will kind of spirals and they avoid it, but i believe tension isn't the risk of fracturing their relationship ... i do think it's really simple at the core of it: they love each other, they Like each other. mack isnt scared he's ruined it bc he knows will, will isnt scared he's ruined it bc deep down he's still someone who is used to getting what he wants... which is really arrogant but whatever ... he just has to figure out how to deal with the idea of losing one thing to get this One Thing (mackie romance)...

mack and will meet. will's starting to entertain ideas of coming out to his family for real, especially since he Is graduating soon and won't strictly need to rely on them financially anymore. all of a sudden mack has a Friend who likes hanging out with him, who will interrupt his lock ins with mental health walks and 1v1 football / bball games...

I just find it interesting how carmy asks sydney what he can do to be a better partner and how he really takes what she says to heart but with claire it felt like he was just going through the motions.. there really wasnt any emotional depth it felt like carmy thought he “should be” in a relationship but didn’t want to do any of the work a relationship takes but with sydney he’s TRYING (it’s like pulling teeth but he’s trying for her!!)
