Apex legends rant because yeah…

I wanted to rant about apex more specifically the lore, characters and fandom in general because I’ve been playing a lot of overwatch and titanfall 2 lately and also been thinking about apex in general

Its pretty obvious that apex doesn’t care about lore anymore, like i don’t even wanna sugarcoat it lol. The recent lore (and by recent i mean 2ish years) has just been new character backstories and maybe a SLIVER of altered horizons, but thats it! And it sucks! One of the reasons i love apex legends is because of the lore and characters, but now we don’t even get bare minimum aka transition descriptions, it’s just dev notes. At this point i’d rather just have some slice of life small stories every now and then about the legends then just what we are getting now(which is nothing)

Watching overwatch get a full rehash of lore, multiple stories a season, an actual plot and a huge fandom to go along with it just makes me feel sad about how the apex fandom is now, i mean theres barely anyone here anymore LMAO

But in general, i DO hope the lore gets picked up again, i DO hope apex doesn’t something with this rich and interesting world they built and these awesome characters they have, but every season i just get let down again and again and atp Im just giving up hope. Apex is a game to hop onto bc it still is a pretty fun game to play with great mechanics and gunplay, but i do wish they’d do lore and character building on the side as well. I wish they’d do something like overwatch did, but seeing as their profit is in $300 milestone events, universal heirlooms, ranked and ALGS im not sure anymore
