How long did it take for Logan to get his secondary power?

For everyone else they popped up around their 20s. Patton is in his late 20s, almost 30. That's late but that's also because he never used his powers until he moved out. That being said... Logan was a teenager. He was about 15ish when it happened because he used his all the time his whole life.

Imagine Janus being in love with Patton (or another side idk) but all the others think he is manipulating the other side and shun him away and try to ‘protect’ the other side

One day Patton goes down to visit Janus in the dark sides and he gets locked down there by the others saying “If you want to spend so much time with him you can stay down there forever.”

So, what would happen if someone gets put in an ice bath (with cold water)? How long would it be before they pass out and would there be any lasting effects on their body? Like burns or something from the ice.

I can’t really give a particular time for how fast they would pass out; the time might change if the character already has preexisting cardiovascular and/or blood pressure issues. Cold water makes blood vessels constrict, which can cause people with already decreased blood flow to get drowsy and faint. 

Tachycardia and arrhythmia (fast or abnormal heartbeats), non-freezing cold injuries (tissue damage similar to frostbite but not quite as severe), cold shock and hypothermia [x] are also risks too.
