May I request a Janus angst with a side of U!Virgil?
For the soul?
Maybe something like... Virgil keeps guilt tripping Janus, saying that it's his fault that he left in the first place and if he just listened to Virgil, things would be better.. And then the others find out and get protective of the snek?
Sorry this took so long!

It had been such a stupid thing. He'd been making himself some breakfast and had accidentally knocked over a cup. It had fallen to the ground and shattered, spilling coffee all over the floor. Hardly a big deal, especially when all it took to clean it up was a small snap of his fingers.
But of course, things were never that simple for him.
"God, you're still as careless as before, huh?" The sound of Virgil's voice made him jump and he spun around to look behind him.
"It was just an accident-"
"Yeah, whatever. You know, maybe if you weren't so careless, people would actually want to be around you."
Janus opened his mouth to speak, to try and defend himself, but Virgil was already gone.
The next time it happened was a few days later. Janus was on the sofa with Logan, discussing philosophy when the other was called away by Thomas to help him with something. Janus leaned back on the sofa to wait for him when Virgil spoke up.
"He's probably glad Thomas finally summoned him."
Janus turned to look at him with a small frown. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, do you seriously think he enjoyed listening to you talk about all that nonsense? I'm sure he's thrilled he had an excuse to leave."
"I- no. No, Logan enjoys discussing philosophy."
"Sure. Just not with you. I mean, you never shut up and all that lying makes it nearly impossible to talk to you without getting a headache. In fact," Virgil sat up from where he'd been curled up in an armchair and leaned towards Janus. "Maybe if you weren't so fucking irritating, I wouldn't have left in the first place. If you keep this up, they're probably going to do the same."
Janus was speechless for a few seconds. That...that wasn't true. Logan had seemed to be genuinely enjoying their conversation. But then...the logical side had always been good at hiding his emotions. And why else would Virgil have left them?
By the time Logan finally returned from helping Thomas, Janus had already left to his room. When Logan asked why he had left, Virgil just shrugged. "He said he didn't really feel like talking anymore. He's always been like that."
It didn't end there either. Everytime Janus made a mistake or started to get too comfortable around the others, Virgil would make some comment or other about how he drove everyone again and how, if he didn't learn better, the others would be forced to leave him just like Virgil had.
Slowly, it began to get to be too much. Janus started staying in his room more and more often. He'd make up excuses as for why he couldn't attend movie nights or family dinners and eventually he only really came up when Thomas called him or to occasionally get some food.
None of the others knew why this was happening, of course. All they knew was that the deceitful side had suddenly started avoiding them. And they were determined to find out why, despite Virgil's attempts to convince them this was totally normal behavior for Janus.
It was Roman who was finally able to corner him. He'd been in the kitchen, grabbing himself something to eat when the other side had walked in. He'd blocked Janus's way out when he'd tried to leave, holding out an arm to stop him. "Hold on, I want to talk to you." The concern was evident in Roman's voice and Janus stopped, waiting for him to continue.
"Look, we're all starting to get worried about you, Jack-the-fiber. You barely speak to any of us anymore and you spend all your time locked away in your room. If we've done something to hurt you, just tell us and I promise we'll do our best to fix it."
Janus shook his head slightly, starting to walk around Roman. "You haven't done anything."
The other side moved to block him again, frowning. "Then what's the problem? Have you not been feeling well? Because if so, I can get Patton-"
"No, Roman, I'm not sick."
"Then what's wrong?"
He sighed, looking away. "I- I simply didn't want to bother any of you."
"What?" Roman's concern was gone now, replaced with genuine confusion. "What made you think you were bothering us? We all love talking to you."
Janus rolled his eyes, almost laughing at that. "Sure you did. I appreciate you trying to spare my feelings, Roman, but lies don't really suit a prince such as yourself."
Roman shook his head, adamant. "I'm not lying about this. Seriously, how did you get the idea we don't want to talk to you? Did someone say something?"
Janus hesitated, avoiding Roman's gaze and that was enough for the other side. "That's what happened, isn't it? Who do I need to go and slay?"
"No, Roman-"
"Janus. Someone clearly made you think this way, and I want to know who. Tell me."
He didn't reply for a few seconds, voice soft when he finally did speak. "Virgil."
Roman tensed, frown returning. "I- seriously?'
Janus nodded slightly, and the way Roman was looking at him then, gentle and kind and concerned made the words spill out. "He- he said that I talk too much and I'm annoying and that's the reason he left me and if I didn't learn to be quieter and stop bothering all of you, you'd do the same thing and I-"
"Janus, no. All of that is complete nonsense. You don't bother us, okay? We care about you and we care about what you have to say. I-" He paused thinking for a second before reaching out a hand to him. "Come with me."
Janus stared at his hand for a second before cautiously taking it and Roman pulled him down the hallway to Logan's room, knocking on the door.
It was cracked open a few seconds later and Logan stared at them with a sleepy frown. "What-"
"Janus here thinks we don't want to talk to him. That he bothers us."
That seemed to wake him up. Logan's frown grew and he pushed the door fully open so he could better look at the two of them. "Why? I've always enjoyed our discussions and if anything, I've been missing them over these last few weeks."
"See?" Roman smiled at Janus. "I told you we cared."
"Were you under the impression that we didn't?" Logan was now looking at Janus with the same mixture of confusion and concern that Roman had had earlier. "Because I can assure you that that's entirely false."
He hesitated, not quite sure how to begin explaining, but Roman cut in for him. "It was Virgil. He's the one who told Jan that we didn't want him around. I figured talking to you and Patton would show him how much of a lie that was. As for Virgil….we can deal with him in the morning." There was something sharp in Roman's voice as he said that last part made Janus think, ever so briefly, about Remus.
Logan nodded. "That makes sense. Come on, let's go and take him to Patton."
Janus started to protest, not wanting to disturb anyone else, but Roman cut him off, practically dragging him along as they made their way down the hall to Patton's room.
Once they arrived, Roman gave him the same explanation as he'd given Logan and the other side stepped forward, gently, pulling Janus into a hug. Janus hugged back after a few seconds, clinging to him, and they all stayed there for a while, the others muttering soft reassurances and telling Janus over and over that they cared. Eventually, Patton pulled away a little, leading the group out into the living room.
"Why don't we watch a movie?" He suggested as they all got situated on the couch. Janus nodded slightly and Patton started scrolling through their options. They eventually picked one, falling into a comfortable silence as the movie started, Janus finally seeming relaxed. Later, they would have a serious talk with Virgil but now was not the time to be concerned about such things. For now, they could simply all relax and enjoy the movie, as a family.
With the ask you received about Virgil touching Janus without Janus really wanting to (the one with the 'projecting? me? stuff at the end) maybe you should tag it as non-consensual touches or something like that. I think Mod E answered the ask. But yeah, sorry.
Is this blog still active? Eh well. What about Janus being abused by the dark sides (not remus, he ether 1} stays in the imagination or 2} tries to help Jan escape), so when he finally gets a chance to escape he does. Only to be kicked out by the lights? Virgil doesn't know whats happening. And then the lights find out whats happening to Janus (maybe they saw some bruses, maybe remus chewed them out) and they help him escape again only to find out that he's also been mentally abused and its a bit too late for him to return to complete health.
Hello lovelies and sorry for being inactive for so long, mental health hasn’t been good and I haven’t had the energy to be on tumblr. But i’m (hopefully) going to be more active now! And i’ll try to get to all the asks you’ve sent.
I am Mod Rose and I will be running this for y’all!
What is this?
Unsymptober is for unsympathetic sides of the tss fandom! You get one prompt a day, and it is your job to incorporate this prompt into something of your choice like a fic, artwork, or an edit. It’s kind of like inktober

(Abuse + U!Patton) So, what if Patton, before Janus made his first appearance, forced Janus to not show up or something? I'm not really sure where I'm going with this- But anyway, Patton telling Janus things like "Thomas doesn't want you" or "Your going to ruin Thomas's life!" When Janus does show up the first time, Patton locks him in his room for weeks. Everytime he shows up, Patton locks him in his room afterwards, regardless of whether he needed to show up or not.
Hey! I'm a slightly popular person on here, and I was wondering if I can use one of your ask prompts as a story? I'll @ you of course but I did want your permission
I don’t see why not, as long as it’s not one that we’ve reblogged, then you’d have to ask the op’s, but yes.
Imagine Janus being in love with Patton (or another side idk) but all the others think he is manipulating the other side and shun him away and try to ‘protect’ the other side
One day Patton goes down to visit Janus in the dark sides and he gets locked down there by the others saying “If you want to spend so much time with him you can stay down there forever.”
Janus getting abandoned by Virgil after he gets fed up with him, and then when he gets accepted Virgil pretends to be happy for him saying "now I dont have to be mean to you anymore!" And pinning the blame on the lights, also giving him so much physical "affection" that it becomes overwhelming, and Jan's uncomfortable w/ it but its Virgil being nice to him for once, so he should accept it. Projecting? Me? What?
Idea! (Tw-Gore & abusive!Virgil) whenever Janus disagrees or just does something Virgil doesn't approve of, Virgil will remove one of his scales. However he doesn't touch the ones on his face, that way the others are less likely to notice
Janus wears gloves and clothing that covers up because he hates looking at the empty spaces where his beautiful scales used to be, hates looking at the scars left behind, reminders of how he can never be good enough to keep Virgil from being unhappy.
