dance the night away
@idmijung
Hojun had, admittedly, been pretty drunk when it happened, though that really was not rare. He was usually drunk when he managed to fuck up. Eight years of pretending to be something you weren’t did that to a person; when he let loose, he let all of himself the fuck out. Unfortunately, that didn’t mean he was supposed to let it out in front of a member of R!ot. Seeing precious, sweet, princely Adam decking a dude was not exactly on brand. The only consolation he had was that Jade, Mijung, did not exactly have many friends. She would hardly be selling him out, especially when it could wreck the company.
The real shock of that night months ago had been that Hojun was not out for a fight. No, he was just minding his own business when someone got a bit too handsy with the newly debuted member. It was hardly his business if she hooked up with a stranger, but it was his business that she was clearly trying to push him away. Repeatedly. Hojun was an ass, but he was an ass raised by a woman. He had seen men act like that towards his mom far too many times. Before he quite knew what was happening, his fist was in the guy’s face, though he managed to pass it off as him ‘having drank too much’ when the guy’s friends noticed he was out cold. He managed to put on that sweet smile he was known for and left the premises as soon as possible. He kept waiting for panns to pop up, but they never did. He had sighed in relief. Except, he also avoided Jade like the plague.
He needed to get out of the dorms, so he had dragged himself to the 99 Entertainment building to practice some choreography. He would never be a great dancer, but he had certainly shown marked improvement from when he first started out. He was sweating profusely by the time he heard the door open behind him. His heart dropped as he saw her standing there. Jade.
