Rows of bare trees likewise dressed in white stand tall, welcoming the girls’ exit from school as usual and soon going to be adorned in colorful lights as the month of Christmas approaches quicker than she thought it would.

      Letting herself sink into the beauty of her surroundings, she still looks ahead on her path as she addresses the girl next to her with a soft tone of voice.

In any case Maki was going to make sure that Eli didn’t push herself. The last thing they needed was for the blonde to seriously hurt her ankle and end up with a cast. “I’m fine Eli, give me some more credit. A little bit of difference in height isn’t going to change that much. Besides you’re actually lighter than I thought you were going to be.... uh, no offence.”

Once the two of them made it to the nurse’s office Maki reached out and opened the door, walking over to one of the beds and helping Eli sit down on the edge of it. “There, now where is the school nurse...”
