MÍRAME

 Las personas me abordan constantemente para ver si las ayudaré a desarrollarse. Cuando les digo que he tomado nota de sus deseos y que haré lo que pueda, no se sienten satisfechos. Continúan visitándome, escribiendo cartas y haciendo llamadas telefónicas. Imaginan problemas, inventan todo tipo de excusas para verme.

Cuando esto ocurre les digo:

“Si crees que estoy haciendo mi trabajo, entonces no deberías estar aquí a menos que yo te lo pida.”

“Si crees que no estoy haciendo mi trabajo, no deberías tener nada que ver conmigo.”

Nada puede hacerse por tales personas en tanto no se den cuenta de que no estamos gestionando un negocio del cual pueden obtener estímulos emocionales a voluntad.

No tenemos ningún deber para con tales personas cuando están buscando atención y satisfacciones emocionales, en lugar de conocimiento y capacidad.

Cuando dejes de escuchar lo que la gente dice y observes lo que están haciendo, serás capaz de ver aquello que realmente quieren. Cuando ellos observen su propio comportamiento, podrán corregirlo.
