@idumean braved the city to leave a message: ' distinction is such a good look on you, sire, ' Jonathan smirks, sweeping into the other's private quarters with a datapad balanced on one arm. ' I've conducted my review of your security forces, made a few notes - I _do_ hope you don't mind, some of them are rather harsh but you did say to be _critical_ of everything. was there anything else you needed? ' - Hux
Looking up, he wasn't surprised to see Jonathan there in his quarters. The other had been an asset that he hadn't thought possible until Clary had him there with them. While she was his chief diplomat, Jonathan was the one he trusted with his security. It had been a bit of a gamble considering everything. But Clary had told him that this was her brother, that she trusted him, and that he should, too. Trust wasn't something he had a lot of. If Jonathan was going to gain his trust he was going to need to work for it. And he had. In time he'd shown him just what he could do with his security team and Hux couldn't have picked a better person to keep not only himself safe, but his empress, too. "No, I wanted you to be harsh. Things will only get more dangerous the more our empire expands and I need Clary to be safe." He wasn't going to lose her. Not when they'd finally destroyed the last bits of the Resistance. "Once they've been signed off on, will you make certain they are put into place? I'm sure the men will respect you after you went through everything."
