Everyone in the Manor knows how much the seer cares for his teammates and would try to protect them as much as he can, but with his S/O he would take matters into the extreme no matter the risk and his action can become reckless.
Eli is usually very calm and rational, but when it comes down to you, his emotions will cloud his judgment and the only thing in his mind is to protect you. He would try to kite the hunter away from you, body-block for you, He doesn’t even mind getting chaired either as long as you can escape.
There are times when he got too reckless and tried to save you when the hunter has detention, it costs your team a tie and he got scolded by Naib and had to be separated from any team that has you in it for 2 weeks as punishment, which kind of made him sulk a little but at least he got his lesson.
He knows that you are capable of handling yourself but he can’t really help it, he just couldn’t bear the thought of you standing in harm’s way. Though he knows that being too overbearing isn’t good and so he’ll try to not get too protective and to keep his worries in check.
If his S/O is a decoder, then he would always be on edge; he knows that you’re not that great at kiting so he’ll try to support you by always checking up on you with Rose Brooks or just working on the same cipher with you in the game so he could easily protect you when the hunter found the both of you (think of him being your very own personal body guard 😉).
Speaking of Rose Brooks, that bird is a real cutie. When you and Eli had only started dating, he would often send the owl to your room with his letter and you would feed her some birdseed in appreciation. Since then it had become a habit that Rose Brooks would fly up to your room and feed there while you’d be petting its soft feathers.
Eli had even gotten jealous once when you keep paying attention to his bird more than him. He would drag you to his bed and hugs you close to him while he pouted and asked if you only date him for his bird. To which you replied by pinching his cheeks and telling him that being able to pet his faithful companion is just a bonus that comes with having him.
It doesn’t happen often, but when the opportunity shows, Rose Brooks would always try to play cupid and create conveniences for the two of you to get together (I can’t come up with any scenario right now but the idea on its own is cute TT^TT).
His protective side would really show when you got a really bad injury after a match, he would panic and rush you to Emily’s room. After you got patched up he would scold you for being too reckless for 2 minutes before pampering you with everything he got. Want some snacks? On it. Just want to sleep together? He got the bed covered with warm blankets already. All in all, he would consider taking care of you as an obligation of his.
Eli wouldn’t hold a grudge against the hunter, after all, it’s their job to hunt survivors, so he can’t really get mad. But if the hunter purposefully hurt you more than needed, let’s just say Eli would stalk and annoy them the whole time in the next match.
