Half-forms and Hybrids

Rodimus’ reactions to finding out that the Alyon sparks went to Nyon and how Megatron’s a hybrid (MtMtE #38) are interesting. There’s none apparent to him being one of those sparks they’ve just helped save and the involvement of Orion Pax, yet he gets kind of dramatic about Megatron being a hybrid.

The way he words it could imply him knowing about other hybrids that came after, and as far as we know there were only three waves of new forged cybertronians since then: the one that included Orion Pax, Alyon, and the one that the Warborn come from.

During the events of Spotlight: Orion Pax (that takes place quite some time after the Alyon event and is penned by jro) it was mentioned that Bludgeon’s men included “half-forms”, but there was no elaboration on what that entails. And then there were the “half-forms” that The Scavengers found in that one Warworld (MtMtE #7):

Where did these cybertronians come from? What happened to them? Did they run out of sentio metallico during forming or was there something else?

If one didn’t die from whatever malfunctions their condition might’ve caused while still forming, there’s a possibility constructed parts worked as well for them as they do for the cold construced, assuming the living ones in Bludgeon’s group were in some way related to the dead ones in the Warworld. Here’s Bludgeon himself:

There could be some other source, but my bet’s on Nyon. What if the radiation gave the Alyon sparks what radiation gives best? The explosions and a hasty harvest performed by people who might’ve been lacking in qualification for the task probably didn’t help much, either. Not to mention that we don’t know what went on in that secret clinic they were sent to afterwards.

There’s also the running thing about forged hands being more nimble than constructed ones could ever be.

Although Rodimus did leave his previous hands in the quantum generator. Sentio metallico from unretrievably missing limbs likely doesn’t regenerate. He did seem quite nonchalant about loosing them, though.
