21 ♥ What was the most romantic time they had with their partner?
Which time?! Alastor is quite the romantic you know! They do a lot of romantic things together but one of the more memorable moments was when Alastor decorated his boat with flowers to take M out on it. He had asked his little brother for some flowers out of his garden to decorate it and spent a little bit of money at the local florist for some special ones for her. Alastor packed a light dinner for them to have and spent most of his time worried about their meal getting wet or damaged. They just spent their time chatting about their day, planning for their future and got to watch the sunset over the water.
22 ♥ Tell us about a sacrifice they made for their significant other.
Their relationship isn’t about sacrifice and more about compromise and finding a common ground for things. I don’t think that they have had to sacrifice much of anything for each other and always try to work out something between them. In a way, they both sacrificed not having children together due to their dangerous lifestyles, but that was a mutual decision.
23 ♥ Do they apologize to their partner even if it wasn’t their fault?
M is the laid back personality in comparison to her husband in regards of temperament. Alastor is a grumpy son of a bitch and let’s be real, if they’ve had a disagreement about something Alastor is probably the one who is in the wrong. I think M is capable of holding accountability in an argument, but even when Alastor is in the right, he is a passionate arguer and generally has a lot to apologize for after a fight. For example, raising his voice because we all know Al is a shouter. I have a headcanon about Alastor and tone written here
24 ♥ Will they lie for the sake of their significant other’s happiness?
Al is such a dumb bitch when it comes to his wife so the short answer is no. He finds it impossible to lie to her even if it’s over something trivial. For example, if Alastor has a gift for her, he tries to be sneaky about it and it’s usually about 2 months before her birthday and M just knows him well enough to know that something is up. She generally knows it’s something regarding her gift and won’t confront him about it, but might mention months later
25 ♥ If they could choose their partner again, would they choose the same person?
Considering that G literally manifested M on the principle that Alastor would need an incredibly specific person to be with, Yes. Yes Alastor would pick M again and again. Yes, every time! M is probably the only person who is actually compatible with ole Al. She knows how to deal with his mood swings and his attitude and keeps our boy in check.

she might be immortal, but that unfortunately doesn’t make peitho immune to fatigue at the end of a particularly stressful day. spiritually, she is lying facedown in the soft and plushy pillows of her large bed, physically the couch will have to do. the strain of her work is usually a driving motivation, but even the goddess of having-things-her-way can have a bad day. aphrodite was particularly needy today, and her best friend and most favorite coworker eros had another errand to run so she did not even have the chance to relieve her stress through banter, nor someone sensible to back her up in front of their boss. too tired to even want to get her phone from the other side of the couch, let alone have to open her eyes to type into it, peitho orders:
“ hey siri, text eros: champagne and facemasks later? ”
her phone’s pleasant voice responds: ‘ here’s your message to eris: champagne and facemasks later? — ready to send it? ’ with a groan instead of a second thought, peitho responds with the affirmative and only as her phone verifies that the message was indeed sent, she replays in her mind what she’s just heard. here’s your message to eris? that can’t be right. but a look at the screen confirms the mistake — she did indeed just ask the goddess of discord to hang out. well fuck.

DEATH APPROACHES . — it is only the flesh that survives. thanatos does not hide from his mother when he is beckoned for the first time. he does not pretend there is nothing wrong, for he knows his mother will see right through this glamour. he does not pretend that the gauntlet he wears is new, a gift from the olympians to hide his disgusting scars around his wrist. his gorget is polished, the god not having worn it in decades but now finding it necessary to pair with a differently-styled chiton. he cannot wait, cannot stand still for too long or it will be too much to bear. it will feel like that GODFORSAKEN BOX, again, and thanatos, long-haired and damp-eyed, cannot handle that again.
damn sisyphus, he thinks, turning away from his mother for just a moment, damn sisyphus for making him afraid of the dark.
there will be time, he believes: time to learn under the god of war with the blade his forebearer has given him. there will be time to learn that no one can ever hurt him again so long as no one ever approaches him again. but in the same vein of things, loneliness is so scary, so FEAR-INDUCING that the thought of pushing everyone away is somehow more terrifying than the dark. in this corner of the house, there are few shades that linger: those that do gaze upon an exhausted death, weakened from the month in the chains made by the forge-god, and fatigued from the autumnal reaping brought about by death’s gentle hand. i’m sorry i’m late, he says with each string cut, each butterfly delivered to his brother, i hope you can forgive me.
looking at his mother now, thanatos doesn’t know what to say properly. he cannot find words, so he approaches her: with each step taken towards the night mother, the shades disperse. they do not know the truth about where death has been, but the house of hades has not grown in size in some time, and they know that it is because of thanatos’ absence.
he wraps his arms around his mother, his hands balling into her dress as though he were a child again, and he seeks comfort in the night as he did when he was but a babe and given the gruesome responsibility of bringing about humanity’s end. his head falls to her shoulder and he weeps, openly, in their section of the house afforded to only them at this moment. black ichor drips from his tear ducts onto her clothes, her skin, and finally, death speaks.
‘ i’m sorry i’m late, ’ he whispers, feeling so small in her hold. ‘ i’m sorry i didn’t fight back. ’
Al is literally the guy that will ask M if she’s sure she wants to marry him while they’re at the altar.

“Oh, M?” Alastor asked as he glanced down at plain gold band that rested on his finger, the corners of his lips turning up into a clear smile. His eyes seemed to have brightened at the mention of his long term companion. “You want me to talk about my wife? Well, you might be here for a minute,” he joked before leaning back in his seat, propping his good leg up on his desk. “She’s a lovely baker, and she is kind, and more than generous.She puts up with my temper and mood swings in a way that no one else can and is probably the only person who can reason with me when I’m in such a miserable state. If she weren’t in my life I would be incredibly lost and she has been a beacon of hope for me when times are tough. She has shown me nothing but support and love throughout our lives and has always been the strong one in our relationship.”

Alastor’s mouth fell into an ‘o’ shape of surprise but soon found his shoulders were shaking as he tried to contain his small fit of laughter. He soon came to regret doing so as it only caused his injury to throb even more and more blood gushed from the cut on his cheek as he couldn’t help but turn his mouth up into a smile. He couldn’t blame his wife for her sharp tongued comment. He had never been a good patient for anyone and as much as he loved her, M was no different when it came to this. Besides, he didn’t need her fretting over him anyway, he wasn’t dying but he supposed that he would be just as worried if he was in her shoes.
As she patched his cheek, he remained still for her as he considered her words. “I’m sorry, I thought me being stubborn was part of the reason why you married me,” he prompted, raising a playful eyebrow as he pulled her in tenderly by the base of her neck, before he slid his hand up, his thumb brushing tenderly along her cheek. “Thank you Healer Moody, you’re the best infirmary slash kitchen in town,” he said before pecking a kiss to her forehead.

Alastor would say that any treat that M sets her heart to is the best treat. He loves seeing her get excited about baking and always tries to stick a spoon in the batter despite him warning him he’s going to get sick. He has a sweet tooth so when I say he likes everything she makes that’s generally true. Sometimes he sees things with raisins in them and ends up giving it to a coworker, but her treats never go wasted and Alastor is always proud of her bakes. Some of his favorites are her cinnamon rolls and lemon tarts.
