Iezael is the definition of wolf in sheep's clothing. Don't be fooled or else it may be too late to turn back... A promise is a promise after all, something that's binding if you don't watch out. ♡

obsessed with Iezael, bc though his whole thing is literally building a whole church dedicated to your worship and he would "do anything for you", he won't ever just stop and leave you alone. because the worship is just another form of his love, and the love is secretly just control.
in the end, you'd probably be no different than any other number of his flock, brainwashed deeply convinced of your own divinity and thankful Iezael was there to show you the light and free you from mortal troubles.
and when you two are alone, when you're taking his every word as gospel and surrendering yourself to his love, it becomes difficult to tell which is the god and which is the devotee.
(turning their dynamic around in my brain like a microwave)
Omggg yes this!!! I love how their dynamic can flip so easily between the two of them!!
You end up completely dependent on him, after all he’s done such an oh so careful and deliberate job of making sure you are. This role is all something he guided you into, piece by piece, until there’s no clear way back out of it anymore and the lines are too blurred to understand right and wrong anymore.
Everything he says becomes something you cling to, something you need because you’re trying so hard to live up to this “god” he and his followers see in you. And every time you hesitate, even a small moment of clarity or flicker of doubt. He notices. And he’s right there to pull you back in, soft and reassuring, telling you you’re doing the right thing, that you’ve always been doing the right thing listening to him. And you cling onto those words as your only source of guidance in this sheltered birdcage he made just for you.
