My Memorial Day weekend is ruined.

All I wanted was a nice date with my boyfriend and hanging out with my friends I have not seen in forever. It seems every time I want to do something, my mom does the opposite. I requested a trip to Rhode Island in February during break, and it was rejected. Now that I told everyone to prepare for some fun, I am whisked away! My mother will make me regret this, but I will not be a happy camper the entire way to and fro.
