On a rare time Ifa was able to stay the night at Ororon's and let them have a full evening of hanging out together, he always found himself nervous. Despite being his best friend for years, Ifa was still (to Ororon's knowledge) unaware that the bat boy harbored any feelings for him that were anything but just best friends; a well kept secret meant to keep the worst from happening and Ororon weirding out his best friend (even compared to some of the things Ifa has been subjected to in the past with him) and making things irrevocably awkward.
But at least for the moment Ororon could busy himself with getting Cacucu tucked into the bed that only came out when the little Saurian was there to need it. Fluff up the blankets on the bed for him to lay on, helping take the backpack off from around his little wings so the Qucusaur could get comfortable, and finally pet Cacucu's head once he'd settled down and scratched his chin under his beak.
It wasn't something Ororon thought of at all since it was simply part of his body, but he didn't think of it when he changed into a baggier shirt to sleep in and took off his jeans and momentarily only had his boxers on to cover his legs. The little blue tail sticking out from between the two garments was simply there while Ororon put his dirty clothes where they needed to go and do his best to not get distracted by any of Ifa's muscles as the vet too got changed to be more comfortable for sleep.
And then promptly failed at getting distracted when he saw Ifa on the other side of the bed in nothing but a pair of shorts. Oh.
Cue him losing his train of thought after finishing petting Cacucu, Ororon was wholly unaware that any color was creeping onto his face watching Ifa's muscles stretch and flex as he left his clothes from that day on top of Ororon's dresser and pushed his boots underneath the bed so they were out of the way. Definitely the normal way for one bro to look at another bro, right?
"Thanks again for letting me crash here, bro. Really didn't think I'd end up takin' so long with my appointments today that I wouldn't be able t' make it back to the clinic at a decent hour but it does happen sometimes. Just lucky I was close to your place, makes it a lot easier finding a comfy spot to lay my head for the night- not to mention how you already have stuff for Cacucu, too. I always tend to worry about 'im when we've gotta stay somewhere-..." Ifa's train of thought promptly went off the rails as he'd finally turned toward Ororon and something caught his eye.
Sure, Ororon did seem a little weirdly dazed but he was a weird guy so that didn't really phase Ifa all that much, he was probably just mulling over some kind of ridiculous thought nobody else in the entire world ever could've ever strung together. No, what what had captured his eyes was none other than that interesting little tail he'd caught a peek of, having not really had much opportunity to know it existed when sleepovers weren't super common between them given their respective responsibilities at each of their homes.
"Woah... guess it makes sense you'd have one since ya also have those ears, but it's probably pretty convenient that'cha can just tuck your little tail into your normal clothes, huh?" And off he went, circling around Ororon with to observe said little tail and, because he just couldn't help himself, gave it a little poke.
"Oh! Sorry, bro, I really shouldn't've done that without asking you first. Can't say I'm the most familiar with bat anatomy when my specialty is in saurians but for most animals their tails tend to be sensitive- not that you're an animal... well... mostly, I guess. Kinda hard to truly classify hybrid types but ya know me. I'm sure not gonna be the type to treat a bro differently just 'cause he's got some unique features."
