Sleep Study will be screened in front of the weekly meeting at the IFCKC this Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Alamo Drafthouse. The usual suspects will be rounded up afterward for a Q&A. The event is open to members of the Independent Filmmaker's Coalition of Kansas City - AND anyone interested in learning more about the organization. We hope to see you all there!

08/20/2014 MEMBERSHIP MEETING NOTES | Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City Proof that I attended the recent IFC meeting here in KC ;) There are some people I didn't get to meet in person who I'm going to attempt to catch up with. The place was packed! I'm looking forward to the next meeting on September 3rd.

Big News: The IFC is MOVING!! The Alamo Drafthouse has graciously offered us meeting space. This move would put us right in the heart of Kansas City’s entertainment district, and give us unprecedented access to a real live movie theater. Meetings will still be held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30, but instead of at the WCH, they will be at the Alamo Drafthouse!

The IFC would like to thank the WCH for being our home for the last 14 years and we wish them nothing but success!

Our last meeting at WCH will be August 20

This is going to be rad. I love the Alamo Drafthouse. One of the perks on the Indiegogo campaign is a custom screen-printed poster for The Fly (1986) that I got at a screening there.

Weekly Meetings

Meetings are held at 7:30 pm two Wednesdays a month (first and third) at the Westport Coffee House, 4010 Pennsylvania Ave, Kansas City MO. Meetings are free and open to the public.

These people are going to be sick of hearing about TBD by the time we shoot this thing. Every meeting from now on, we're there.
