She totally pockets bees. SO MANY BEES. All the bees in her house. All the bees outside. She hoards them... unless Miraak sees her catching them. Then she just eats them.

Luckily for IG Sterlas, Miraak and Jenassa, Casil has found a spell that allows her to store her items in an (near) infinite pocket space. Which is great, because recently Casil has discovered that the other type of plate she frequently sees AND tankards can, in fact, be melted into usable ingots. 

That’s like 90 lbs. of tankards they no longer have to carry in addition to the literal like 300 lbs. of kettles and cast iron pots Casil regularly jacks from literally every location she can.

Ultimately my replaying Skyrim experience can be summed up by “Sterlas chases after the small animals Casil is failing to hit with a fireball until Miraak literally disintegrates it with Unrelenting Force”

Is this a Skyrim thing? The eating bees thing? I mainly play eso so I'm confused?

I’m not sure how ESO works because I haven’t played it, but I assume so then LOL. Or at least, a ‘core’ TES thing. In Skyrim, you can eat a alchemy component to learn something about what you can use it for. And this.... includes... just straight up bees. Live bees that, seconds prior, you snatched out of the air. That are still wiggling their wings in the inventory and very clearly still alive???????

So the ‘eating bees’ thing just has sort of become a joke because you can literally just shove hundreds of live bees into your LDB’s face like nothing’s wrong.

I don’t think I have! Casil’s character came around honestly as a mix of personal interests and ideas thrown at me from my boyfriend and brother. /INHALES/ I’m in class and profe is talking about stuff I learned last term so you’re gonna get the long version of this HOLD ON

Initially, it’d been like. BOY you know like. 5 years. Since i’d played Skyrim? And my boyfriend had recently picked it up for the first time and modded it to shit. And I had... not... actually played Skyrim with mods besides like, SkyUI. Last time i’d seriously played was back when I ran the Hevnoraak ask blog in fucking 2012 - there weren’t a TON of mods to pick from aaaand most were either buggy AF or silly. Also, I was a idiot 16-18 year old who had no idea how to do Stuff. 

I’d tried playing it and got to the dragonborn DLC for the first time and A) didn’t get miraak and B) was only just learning that my Z key was broken, and basically just spent the whole time being frustrated because things weren’t working and I didn’t realize that until like the 8th try fighting Miraak. So, new laptop in tow and boyfriend around after this, he’s like. Hey. Hey Ray. This mod, Perksus Maximums. It lets you be a necromancer, Ray. Ur a lichfucker go be a Real Necromancer because vanilla Skyrim really is not great for conjuration. So of course I was like O Fuq Yah sign me the fuck up. So I sat down and absorbed half the mods I liked that he had and dug up my own and slammed open the game and was like. YEAH i’m playing a FUCKIN NECROMANCER that’s.... tttthe only starting point I have. I had a few runs of fucking around before Casil happened.

Which means that Casil was basically just like. Uh what looks cool at the time. Cool, Alternate Start, start me with one of those Fancy Hearthfire Houses. Give me the Falkreath one because it’s cozy in the woods. Uhh bosmer sure usually play breton but I Fucking Hate Diseases, even if I gave myself More Diseases as a fucking mod. And that was A Go. Her name originally was Horizon because I think Bring Me The Horizon was on Pandora at the time and I could not give fewer fucks about my character look or name because i’d never given it 2 seconds of thoughts I was there to fuck around. Which is why Casil has like vampire eyes because I was like “that looks cool” and had no idea that was a vampire thing because I DIDN”T HAVE DAWNGUARD LAST TIME I PLAYED hnfklskf.

My only 2 things when I started playing was A) i’m playing necromancy and B) i’m not using shouts. My usual original play throughs were “stealth archer w/Aura Seeker” and that gets boring p fast. So Casil started off as ‘local asshole steals people’s bones and everything else, because Ray found out a combination of mods lets them get levels for making and melting shit down via smelting, and more stuff can be melted down than in vanilla”. So, in very true form of someone who hoards, I collected everything and melted it all down. I think Casil was like Legendary 15 in smithing last I checked. I was having a blast. Oh, and people’s bones.

This is so old lmao look at that 2016. But here we have Casil in her natural habitat, summoning hoards of Skeletons to kick Hevnoraak’s ass so I can kick back and watch.

Sterlas hanging out to the right - I had actually figured out you could make the werewolf in the Silver Hands hold on the very brief playthrough I had for Peaches, and I ended up rolling in the Silver Hands direction on accident again so hell why not! He was my first and only real follower for a long time.

I wish I had more screenshots but. Mostly, I spent a lot of time doing this kind of shit. Casil became ‘world’s biggest metal, bone and alchemy hoarder’ and never touched the latter.

So, in a car ride (that I was playing skyrim on because my parent’s car whips ass because it has a fucking like. Regular plug in charger??? who’s kind of car is that extra what the fuck I wish I could have that much money when i’m older lmao-), my brother and boyfriend, in true form, were watching and heckling me because my tiny ass was sandwiched between them.

But it was because of them Casil actually became a character. “Why don’t you use shouts” “I don’t want to” “OK she’s mute now” “She’s a mute dragonborn you don’t get to use shouts ever” “Ok but what about the shouts you have to use how are we going to explain that.”

So I remembered Miraak and was like. uhhhh sure that Fuck. My character will free Miraak and make him use shouts. And I guess she needs a Real Name so uhhh Casil. And I had to find a mod to make Miraak my follower and got the Miraak Follower Mod and shit just kinda. Happened. And I was invested in this new character.

So basically TLDR

Casil is very much... a part of me. She’s my love for necromancy and dead shit and my hoarder and how I play skryim not TOTALLY foolishly but also like. I defeated Alduin with literally 400 skeletons and 20 steam guardians i’m a fucking Idiot and a Half. And through playing with Miraak I was like. Oh fuck. He’s kinda cool. Oh shit. His voice is good? Oh shit, LDB/Miraak could be NEAT. And a mute bosmer dragonborn? Sure. Let’s go.

And she’s developed from there. But I really have a handful of mods and my idiot boyfriend and brother for jump starting this at all.

re: the anon who was asking about eating bees thing. no its not just a skyrim thing, its in eso. only to sample ingredients in alchemy you probably just choose 'use'. then again the only grossest thing we have is spider eggs and scrib jelly, which... isn't too bad (considering giant's toe is one only in skyrim).

Oh, alright! It must just be because I think Skyrim explicitly says “eat” instead of just “use” (I could be wrong I haven’t loaded the game up in like 2 years now hnskd). So at least in ESO you could... be doing anything else... that isn’t shoving a wHOLE BEE in your mouth-
